@harlequinade Chris does give credit to that tumblr page in his article, though.

Yeah but multiple people contacted him about misleading people, apparently the source embellished on a lot of stuff and it was pointed out to him, like from people who were actually there and heard Jared talk of the movie. Also her retraction to my knowledge isn't included there.

Apparently Suicide Squad will top Man of Steel's total theatrical earnings. Not that Man of Steel made a lot but the possibility of that happening didn't even cross my mind.

I think it will top it. The hype was insane and it seems like the movie is still doing very good business, 3 weeks since the premiere

Eh, slow-news-day I guess. Clickbait articles are rare on batman news. I've seen way worse on other sites - reporting rumors based entirely on speculations made on forums like this one or completely making stuff up just for the clicks.

I went in expecting it to be terrible. Instead, I was delighted. A few flaws, but otherwise a big hoot.

Yeah I didnt really jive with Joker. His performance was just...off to me. I didnt DISLIKE him but he didnt leave an impression on me snd he just seemed like this drugged out gangster who happens to look like a clown. I'm also kind of upset we didnt get a real maniacal "joker laugh" out of him either.

Yewww... I absolutely hate this live-action look of the original costume. And it comes from someone, who ADORES Bruce Timm's art and designs in BTAS.

Can't speak for everyone but I definitely like MOS and BvS more than I like SS. I still like SS but BvS UC and MOS are better movies imo.

I honestly can't see how they could've made it any more like the BTAS suit. It's pretty much identical in every way.

Somethings just don't translate directly to live action from the animated versions.

I agree with this. Enjoyed Suicide Squad more than the TC of BvS. I'd say the UC of BvS is about equal. I liked MoS, but I liked the actual characters (ie the Squad & Waller) better than nearly all of the characters in both MoS & BvS. Not to mention I've been re-reading the Ostrander TPB (& Glass' New 52) run & it's crazy how close the characters are. That's my input. I've enjoyed the DCEU so far though even with their flaws, there are a decent amount that don't....

It was off because it was gutted. That kind of eccentricity needs to be fleshed out more, instead all you got was 7mins.

SS was the lowest common denominator imo. By far the worst of the DC films. No amount of trendy music or attempt at hip/millennial dialogue could cover up how poor it is from a storytelling/plot perspective.
