I'm not sure people are shallow for preferring fun movies over boring movies

I think people gravitated towards the fun characters and the stylish vibe of the movie. It allowed them disregard the flaws.

It was an entertaining movie. Critics obviously help or hurt box office, but people know what they like and word gets around. I know some DC fans say it's a weaker movie than others, but, personally, I liked it better than MoS or BvS.

With the separate tv and movie universes we already deal with enough petty DC vs. DC crap as it is.

Lol Arrow vs Flash, Supergirl vs Gotham, BvS vs SS.

No wonder why Geoff Johns is getting "optimism and hope" back earlier.

All I'll say about SS/BvS is that both had terrible RT scores and were perceived as a mess by the media narrative but the difference was one was going for fun and the other going for complex story/epicness and SS' b.o. showed us that the audiences right now prefers fun characters, diverse cast and something outside the box.

Lol dc vs dc.. to me...glad i don't follow that bc I choose to not watch the live action dc shows on tv. So I generally follow the live action films and animated shows.

'Suicide Squad' the album manages the riaa gold certification.
Kevin Weaver of Atlantic records announced on his instagram account that the album (soundtrack) of the suicide squad managed the riaa gold certification.
The certification of awards from the recording industry association of America, based on the number of albums, singles and videos, it sells through the retail markets and other auxiliary markets.
Kevin Weaver posted that 'suicide squad the album' is the only album released in 2016 which has received gold certification and succeeded in only six weeks.

When someone says "it's nothing personal", it's generally not true. HOWEVER, this REALLY isn't personal. I found it funny that your sig ranks SH movies. That's all I was doing. I think we shouldn't even have to think twice about saying "I liked X better than Y". It's not DC v DC to me or Marvel v DC. Didn't like MoS (esp the "climax"), liked BvS pretty well, and SS was my fav.

I'm done with Arrow for the moment, excepting the crossover, won't be watching S-5 unless I hear good things about it after it has finished up. The other shows are great so long as you're ok with a healthy serving of cheese.

Arrow is the only show I gave a chance but didn't care about the past couple of seasons. Same with agents of shield...I just couldn't get interested in it again.
