Well there is this whole thing with Harley tricking Enchantress because she thinks Joker is dead

Have we heard based on the test screenings how the original ending went down?


Also, your post has me wondering if the very ending w Harley asking Enchabtress to "bring back her puddin " was always there but perhaps took on a different meaning originally. As in, she "list her puddin" because she opted not to leave with him when he showed up st the subway station as opposed to her presuming him dead in the theatrical.

For me what would remedy a lot is if they showed us longer escape from Arkham scene with Joker beating someone with the bat etc. anything to make him look less than 'aw what a nice boyfriend!' from theatrical cut. And please please please NONE of those horrible purple splashes and neon effects all over the movie.

Man that was a very Joker scene they cut.

After they blowup security he goes back in to finish the job. Saying "Are you kidding me? Some people just don't when to die."

Irony being that Joker survives a lot of incidents where he should have died.

This is a scene where he's mostly sad in the movie. Here he is smiling.

Also appears there is a woman's leg in the background. Could this be Joker imagining Harley there?

Really hoping we get to see more of a scary/violent Joker in the Extended Cut as apposed to the "love drunk" boyfriend result we got. Hell, Batman The Animated Series (intended for children) showed more of an abusive relationship between Joker & Harley than this PG13 film.

True, and it may be wishful thinking but I could see most if not all of the deleted scenes we've heard about fitting into 11 minutes. I bet a lot of them aren't more than a few seconds.

Studio exces or early testings might have found Joker forcing that to happen a little too disturbing.

It seems they cut the Joker stuff because it took away the Skwad. His mission is totally different and irrelevant to what the movie is about.

Ayer or someone at WB should have realized that the Joker should make something happen in the 3rd act.

There's a witch destroying the city (he's got a helicopter so he has a better view of whats going on). The Joker should have been intrigued about either messing up their plans or have a big scene with Enchantress.

I loved the delivery of the "surrender becomes power" in the movie. However, there's a better one here. And there's a much much better delivery "you're so good."

Man what the heck was going on in the editing room.
