This is true but I'm thrilled that the DCU is branching out of Batman and Superman. It's about time other characters get exposure. It's not DC's fault that the only characters that the general public and casual fans are interested in when it comes to their roster are Superman and Batman.
They're just giving consumers what they ask for.
I'm one of the few people here who has always bought a lot of the more niche DC books growing up in addition to the more mainstream and still do. However when I go to the comic shop and see the pile of Batman issues on the shelf almost empty while stuff like Omega Men and Starfire (both which I love) are overstocked by comparison what do you expect them to do?
They always try to expose their other characters be it through media or comic books but most people just don't care.
I'll never understand statements like this. What a load of bs "oh, he's my favorite, but bla-bla I don't wanna see him.." .
Aaaaand it all made sense in the end with this :
At what point did I say he was my favorite character?.......
Ever hear of "to much of a good thing".....
as for the Marvel thing......sensitive much?
Batman isn't the only character in DC's stable. We get it he's popular but they don't have to beat us over the head with the character. There are plenty of other characters within the DC Universe that can be mined for film success and they all don't have to ride on Batman's coat tails.

First they complain that Batman is retired for too long, now they complain there's too much Batman. And Marvel as an example... Since 2008 we had 5 movies about Iron Man. We had 3 movies about Captain America since 2011. Means almost one each year. But this movie has Killer Croc, Harley Quinn, Deadshot and Joker. Is Batman really out of place in this movie? Do you want Batman to just stay home when the Joker breaks out?

Point taken....but is that an indictment against the characters or the writers.
This looks really, really bad. Like a Christopher Nolan version of a spoof movie.
Also, green-haired Li'l Wayne sucks.
Maybe you should stick to My Little Pony.
I didn't even notice at first who the Joker was torturing at the end.
Who is it?
Harley. Or Harleen, rather.
Someone said that the other day. How can you tell?
