This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]506233[/split]
CBS’ “Supergirl” is readying another DC Comics character for battle.
The drama has cast “Chasing Life” alum Italia Ricci in the recurring role of Siobhan Smythe. The latest hire by Calista Flockhart’s media mogul Cat Grant, the character is first introduced as a workplace adversary for Melissa Benoist’s heroine. But she later becomes a much more deadly foe when she takes on the mantle of DC Comics villain Silver Banshee.
Ricci will first appear in the 14th episode of the freshman drama, which received its full-season order earlier this week.
“We are so excited to be working with Italia,” said “Supergirl” exec producer Andrew Kreisberg. “We’ve been a fan of her work for years and we cannot wait to see her take on this iconic comic book role.”
The casting is also proving to be a family affair among this and the other Warner Bros.-produced crop of superhero shows. Ricci is engaged to Robbie Amell, who appeared on CW’s “The Flash.” (Amell had also guested on her recently departed ABC Family series).
Ricci is repped by ICM, Protégé Entertainment, Coast to Coast and Felker, Toczek, Suddleson LLP.
How do you know lol we know next to nothing on bizzaro and have more info on banshee.
A 1.9 is the best rating for Supergirl since week 2 when it scored a 2.19, and is an increase of 4 tenths from the midseason finale.
I don't think anyone could have predicted that. Hopefully it stays up in the 1.7+ range next episode.
Right now the series low is a 1.52. If it doesn't drop below that a renewal is a lock.
We don't know the unrounded final number for last night, but I'll take a stab and guess 1.87. With that in mind, the average through nine episodes is 1.88.
If the show takes a huge dive the rest of the season and averages a 1.20 over the final 11 episodes, the season average will be 1.51. I really think that would be enough to squeak by with a renewal.
If I'm guessing (and I am), I'd say the final 11 episodes will average in the high 1.4s for a season average of ~1.65. Daylight savings and March Madness will definitely have an impact.
I have gone from considering this show a toss up to a solid renewal.
Supergirl continues to be a message of good over evil but the politically correct strategy employed by the liberal left – that of the end justifies the means – is not a moral, compassionate choice.
And I want to say to the writers, Krypton blew up because of an unstable sun whose time was coming and it was becoming a supernova...
You knew this was going to happen. A "conservative" media watchdog group Newsbusters has zapped Supergirl for espousing global warming fear mongering.
By the way I am of the mind that the earth comes and goes and that global warming is fearmongering New World Order propaganda and the Earth IS NOWHERE NEAR ANY DANGER. if anything is manmade it's by the government through devices like HAARP and CERN, which are not discussed in the corporate media universe because it messes with the agenda of said media that lower populations through forced vaccines and staged wars are the answer (sounding like Max Lord's heroes like Bill Gates and George Soros here).
You can look those terms up online and you will find they are not theories. But I guess that would make me a conspiracy theorist (HOW I DETEST THOSE WORDS)

And the blog post ends with this warning.
Let me say if they do anymore like this...I will boycott the show. I WANT ENTERTAINMENT, NOT PROPAGANDA. I GOT TOO MUCH OF IT IN COLLEGE.
