It gave Supes the shot in the arm he needed, theatrically speaking.

I liked it.

This could be the summer film of 2025. I mean, Marvel has several coming (especially F4) but this film has personality and heart if the trailers are any indication.

I think it looks great. Would have loved Henry Cavill to stay on but there's no way DC had any alternative than to start afresh ,and maybe I'm getting old but this is the look I want from a Superman film. Man of Steel was too dark, don't get me wrong, I like a darker Superhero film and would be fuming (and indeed was a few decades ago!) if Batman was done more childlike, but it's Superman FFS, the world is a depressing enough place at times, so if you can't have a feelgood Superman film then that just makes it that little bit more depressing. Yes there's things I'm not keen on like the possibility of too many other heroes (especially with hair pieces like that!) but already in the trailer we've seen Superman being a hero, there's a political aspect in there that could be interesting, he at least changes his hair with his outfit this time, but most of all it just feels like Superman and the colours and music are a big part of that. My favourite part about the triler was watching it with my 9 year old who turned round and said 'I want to watch that' and even if I'm still not 100% if a flying dog is pushing it, he said he thought that looked great so that's more than good enough for me.

Like I say, I'm not opposed to darker comic book films or even more adult based ones, as I still think The Winter Soldier is as good as any Marvel film and the DareDevil Netflix series up there too but Superman is Superman and should be the exception where this stuff is concerned.

We don’t have a teaser for F4 yet, just that bootleg footage that was circulating several months ago. I was underwhelmed.

If she hadn’t played Harley Quinn so well, I would be behind Margot Robbie as Livewire. She would nail Lori Petty’s sassiness and her shock jock personality.

I liked that bootleg FF footage substantially more than this, NGL. This movie will almost certainly be stronger on a screenplay level but the stacked core cast FF has gives it a huge advantage.

Pity I can't be excited for a version of FF where they've, uhh, made that call with Doom.

Just wait until the Jurassic World: Rebirth trailer hits. Gareth Edwards knows how to shoot a movie and all of his trailers are legitimately awesome and awe inspiring.

Oh, obviously Jurassic World will be the bigger hit and I think the people are naive to assume Superman has any advantage there. FF is much more up in the air.

I teared up when Supes tells Krypto to take him home. Gunn is gonna get me like he did for GOTG3. The wheezing is absolutely frightening as a Supes fan.

I liked the new trailer, but after Justice League (Hallejulia) and Suidice Squad (I started a joke), I try not to hype myself too much for this kind of teasers.

Really cool teaser. Strong visuals. Great music. Wasn't sold on Lex though. The movie, contrary to what Gunn said, already seems to be pushing a whole lot of characters. Hope they can balance it properly, but a bit cautious because of that.

Mr. Terrific plays a major role, so maybe whoever are secret villain is will reveal the truth.

I just looked up the entire cast list which admittedly made a bit more nervous. Great cast, don't get me wrong, but a small and focused movie to start off the DCU probably would be a good call. Still, all I have to judge right now is a great teaser that ensured I'll be seated week 1. We'll see how it goes!

Nice trailer. Odd little thing I appreciated was defeated Superman in the snow in the fetal position, looking very much like a vulnerable kid in his PJs. It was strikingly quaint and humanising (and he wasn't posed like crucified jesus either which is refreshing). I hope Gunn can successfully curb his smuttier tendancies and knock this out of the park.
