I picked the Hardcover of this arc up yesterday, I thought it was awesome....tons of multiple dimension Batmans and Supermans with Loeb's writing :O

The Maximums were fun to look at too

Post your thoughts here, and we'll discuss how awesome this was

But a massive step down from Public Enemies.
I did enjoy it though. It was a lot better when I had the whole story in front of me to read at once.

The entire rest of the series has been a massive step down from Public Enemies.

If I'm going to try one book out of the S/B series, would Public Enemies be the most worth it?

Yeah, it's the first one and really the only one of the first three stories that didn't completely suck.

Definately. It's a great read, best of the series so far.

However, Im still a little confused with the beginning of the book

when Superman kills Skyscraper

Why did he do it?

It was crazy, whacky and completely nuts. I loved that.

Hey, wtf are you doing it the comics section?:cmad:

Does Public Enemies end with a cliffhanger requiring you to go and read the next volumes?

Talking about comics a-duh

..anyhoo, I thought all of them were enjoyable, but I enjoyed Vengeance the most, mostly because of The Ultimates rip offs and the dimension people....

Thats my story and Im sticking to it.

That's a cliffhanger that leads into a massive, company-spanning crossover.

No, it doesn't count.

That wasn't our Superman. Whatever reality that Superman was from, he thought that Skyscraper killed Lois.

I still don't understand how the Atomic Skull was killed by a bullet, but other than that, I enjoyed the arc, more or less.
