Yeah, but we're talking about a guy whose body can take punches from Superman. How can a single bullet kill him without anyone raising any questions as to how?

I mean, it went through Superman's hand because, I assume, it was made out of blue kryptonite, but that doesn't explain why the Skull was vulnerable to it.

America, Robot was Iron Man, Hornet was Wasp, Skyscraper was Giant Man, Viking was Thor, Bowman was Hawkeye, and Monster was Hulk. Also, Bug was like Spider-Man, and his girlfriend being pushed off the bridge by "Halloween" was like the death of Gwen Stacey. Anything I'm missing here?
