The new character design for Lois makes me think of Carol Ferris/Star Sapphire.

And Superman's still stuck with black dots instead of real eyes. Shame.

The new dvd for the 77' Batman filmation series has a trailer at the start of disc 2 side B, some new stuff. I like Lex' voice not too bad, no Clancy Brown but alright.

Well I think his eyes should be upgraded to look like real ones and not "black SLITS".

i actually look forward to this movie. seems that it will be 100x better than Superman Returns

and it's rated PG-13!!!!!!!!!!!

hopefully, the movie sells well so it can give WB more incentive into producing more of these type of films with Batman, Flash, etc.

As far as I know, the Justice League will not appear - no Batman, no Hal Jordan, etc. Bit of a letdown I know.

They should have had the JL and Batman. Although they at least did that funeral scene in JL Vol. 2. But it should be done in the movie. I loved when Batman stopped those punks from starting trouble at the procession.

That new trailer on the filmation superman cartoon shows some new stuff, Perry saying, "superman dead, Superman gone nuts, what the hell is going on!" , so I wonder if he's referring to one of the four Supermen going nuts. t:

Cool that it's PG-13, should be better than SR, these dvds are usually better than what they do for the movies 'cause they don't get ruined by realism. Timm said they'd have to be true to the violence since it is bassically superman being beaten to death.

I wish they would've used different art as well. How about bringing in Dan Jurgens to do this? I'm not sure if he's worked in animation before, but having the guy that drew most of the series would be great. Plus, hes my favorite Superman artist. JURGENS PLEASE

NOHO!

I know how you feel Ibn. Taking the Justie League out so that Doomsday can't beat the ever living crap out of them before DD goes one on one with Superman does take away from the threat he poses somewhat, even if the characters DD clobbered in the original storyline were mostly B-listers and C-listers. Also not having the League there for Superman's funeral takes away from the impact his death has on the superhero community as well as the regular community.

Just makes it all the more of a shame that the Justice League: The Animated Series never did the Doomsday storyline in all its wonderous glory, settling instead for busting into two separate things (Superman's assumed death and Superman's non-fatal brawls with Doomsday).

Still, I'm checking this out because I'm sure Adam Baldwin will give us a good Superman voice.
