yes the world is a big bad place but if you hide all the bad stuff from your children and insulate them then it makes them weaker and less informed adults.
Use the movie to initiate discussion and explain to the kid that unprotected sex can have unintended consequences and explain what those might be and that even Superman can be caught unawares.
Also try to use the movie to explain to the kids that you shouldn't judge people because they made a bad decision. That no one is perfect and everyone can have a momentary lapse of judgement.
You can look up to heroes and they can be role models but everyone has imperfections. It's part of being human. Just be careful how high you build the pedestal.
