If for some crazy reason, the KID turns out to be Superman’s…what does this promote??? That it is okay for teens to have unprotected sex, knock up their girl, and then LEAVE for x number of years…is that the message that would be conveyed???

Or maybe…it’s okay for girls to have unprotected sex and get knocked up, because LOIS did it! 

I think the whole KID thing is a terrible idea, and could cause some rather DIRE moral and ethical consequences, that may SHATTER the very fabric of CHILD and TEENAGE INNOCENCE!!!

Why, there would be teens and kids everywhere emulating SUPERMAN and having unprotected sex, to be just like their HERO!

Yes, I know...it is JUST a movie...BUT, books influence, music influences, MOVIES INFLUENCE!

The problem is...young kids and teens, and most young youths in general...tend to lack the maturity to think clearly, and see the bigger picture. They watch Fast and the Furious and they wanna go drag race or speed. They watch Spy Kids, and they want to be a Spy Kid, they watch Agent Cody Banks, they want to be a secret agent, they watch Spider Man, they want to be just like Spiderman...and when they watch this SUPERMAN movie, they will want to be JUST LIKE SUPERMAN, in every way!!! Personally, I think this could have all been avoided, by making it a HARD PG-13, a bit darker akin to Batman Begins...you saw NO kids in BATMAN BEGINS. Batman Begins was not targeted towards a CHILDREN audience like this Superman Movie is...and that is the problem. And whether you like it or not, Superman is supposed to be a big boy scout, someone with dated traditions...he would NEVER knock someone up and just leave. He wouldn't even have sex before marriage...he is just very traditional...

I don't care what it might "promote." It's a comic book film. I'll concede that yes, kids may see something on the big screen and think it's cool (maybe even wanting to emulate it), but if any kid was influenced in a sexual nature by anything related to Superman, they probably shouldn't be allowed to pro-create in the first place...because they're stupid. Ok, well that makes perfect sense. I had heard that in addition to the weight training, Brandon also had to get singing lessons. He's going on a world tour in which he will be singing a classic piece of music with the WWE superstars and Robin Hood's Merry Men. I hear they will be singing a wonderful tune:

You never know...I mean, that is the point isn't it? Most kids are NOT rational adults...they are kids...that tend to act out their fantasies or fantasies they witness...ie Spy Kids, Spiderman, or SUPERMAN...so that is the point. You already have alot of kids now days that want to be vampires, from watching movies like Blade and what not...so you never know!

Maybe, we can get Singer to do a director's re-cut...and remove every scene with the KID in it...I would buy that DVD in a HEARTBEAT!!!
