Survivor: Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty

Its impossible to be voted out with the special idol. You can always play if after the final votes are read.

My goodness, this season is outstanding. At the last possible minute, Spencer has completely reversed his fortune and taken a position of power in the game. And he has done it in such a brilliant way. Now for 3 days at Pondersoa, people will be hearing what a backstabber Woo is. If Spencer can eliminate Tony, he wins in one of the most miraculous comebacks in Survivor history. Even if he can't, he still probably beats any of the remaining players. If he gets into the final three (and there is no reason to think that he won't)...he can't lose.

WAIT! DID I SEE THAT RIGHT!?!?! TONY VOTED FOR TRISH!?!?! :wow: What the hell is he doing?!?!?!

Someone explain why Tony would vote out Trish? I can't comprehend the strategy behind it.

I get it. He was put in a position where he had to choose between Kass and Trish and he wants Kass at that final tribal council. EVERYONE wants Kass at the final tribal council. Kass is this game's Philip Shepard, only Philip at least had SOME self-awareness and realized the perception of his game (unfortunately his claim that he would win everyone over in the final TC was completely unfounded). Kass has no self-awareness. She is convinced that the jury loves her and respects her game. She is not going to get a single vote in the finals....but she will definitely be there.

Luckily for him, the final vote was never read so he can always lie and say "I voted to keep Trish in. I was loyal."

I died when Kass said something like "I don't even remember what I said but I'm sure it was accurate." :lmao:

Nope. Just watched the Ponderosa video and the jury immediately told Trish that Tony voted for her.

Why didn't Tony save Trish with the idol? That makes no sense based on the story that the episode was telling. If he wanted Kass for a goat, he could've voted out Woo like he said he would do.

The finale is actually pretty wide open now though. I could even see Woo winning somehow.

This episode couldn't have worked out any better. Not only does Trish get voted out, but before going she completely blasts Kass in front of everyone, telling her out loud exactly what every other person this season has been thinking.

I am so looking forward to this finale; seeing Spencer win the final immunity challenge would be the capper to what I consider one of the best seasons Survivor has put out in 10 years. Of course if he doesn't win, then he's guaranteed to be the final juror and we'll end up with either Tony or Woo as the winner. Personally I'd vote for Tony because at least he played the damn game from start to finish.

I think Tony might have been scared that if he voted out Woo, he'd have no one there that could help him steal immunity away from Spencer since Kass and Trish are terrible at immunities.

This has been a great season, sad that it's coming to an end.

Anyone know why Sunday isn't the finale? And is there going to be a live reunion show on Wednesday, or are the two hours going to be both the last episode and reunion?

More or less.

Tony knows Spencer has a real good chance at beating him. So he needs Woo to help win the immunity.

Tony may have been a jerk at times but there is no denying he played from day one while it "seems" a lot of others did not do even half as much.

CBS said it had something to do with the late start Survivor had this season due to the Olympics. Because of that late start, the available Sundays for finales was limited, thus going "back to their roots" and airing it on Wednesday. They said if the ratings support it, they'll possibly continue with the Wednesday theme.

The finale episode on the 21st will be 3 hours (8-11pm EST) with the first two hours being the finale and the last being the reunion show.

The Amazing Race Finale is this Sunday on CBS, so the night wasn't available.

This is shaping up to be a great finale. Of the final four, three can realistically win. Usually by this point only one or two players has a real shot at the money.

Spencer is the favorite if he makes the finals. If he makes it there, no one beats him. No one. That said, you'd think everyone would be gunning for him, but I'm not sure. Woo is...well...Woo. He'd need someone else to tell him to do it in order to do so. Kass is convinced that the jury loves her and that no one would beat her (I'm not sure why but she is). Factor in that Tony insulted the hell out of her at TC. He may have voted with her, but she won't care. She is playing far too personal of a game and will probably want Tony out for having the nerve to speak against her. Finally Tony believes (incorrectly) that Woo has the best chance of beating him in the finals. So if Spencer plays his cards right, he may not even need immunity to advance and win the game. That said, an immunity win guarantees him the game.

If Spencer doesn't make it, Tony should win. But this jury seems mighty bitter. As such, they may just give it to Woo who hasn't pissed anyone off. Tony on the other hand, has made moves that he needn't have made (blindsiding Jeffra and Trish, for example). A lot of the jurors are angry with Tony and who can blame them? As such, if final TC is between Tony, Woo and Kass, I think it is a 50/50 toss up between Tony and Woo.

Kass cannot win.

Where did you get this idea? Tony in the past has said that Tasha and Spencer are unbeatable. Woo is probably only there because he may be able to win immunity, which would allow Tony to vote off Spencer.

Kass WANTS to take tony to the end since she thinks he's their Russel Hantz. Tony knows Spencer has too many votes at the end and would take Kass. Woo can't be stupid enough to choose to take Spencer to the F2. (which is is this season, look at the promos).

Spencer will have to win his way there.

Kass cannot win.

Kass is weird, I couldn't stand her for awhile then I realized she is making the show entertaining, so guess I love to hate her. lol

Hopefully her and Tony come back for whatever next all star show they have, because both make things interesting

If Tony doesn't make it to the final two, then this season went from great to scrap in 2 hours. Maybe this will stop people from counting on going against only the hated people in the final.

Woo just won the game. No way he is stupid enough to take Tony with him to the final two.

If Woo wins it will be the most random thing ever.

I'm disappointed. I really wanted to see Kass in the finals. I wanted her to have to face down and acknowledge that she didn't play a good game, that she made senseless moves that pissed off the jury and harbored resentment. I wanted her arrogant ass to face that reality. But we won't get to see it. Instead she can sit in the reunion and guarantee she would've won if she made it.
