Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains

Ugh I was rather disappointed with Russel not taking the initiative this time and eliminate Sandra's sorry ass. He could have easily pulled the heroes' vote and Jerry with him and he didn't even need Parvati's approval or vote. Then Parvati would be without any other person for support once Sandra is gone so she would be forced to depend on Russell (as she wouldn't stand any chance against either hero in the finals) and he could offer to keep their initial deal and take Jerry with them and then vote Rupert and Colby, 1 - 2.

It's actually good that Russell didn't try to mobilize against Sandra since she had the idol. Not that it would have hurt him, he'd still have the inside track to the finals.

The one thing that majorly disappointed me was that we didn't get the Ruppell team-up that the previews hinted at.

Yeah but even then Rupert would have still went home and at least Colby, and Jerry (and Rupert on the jury) would have known that he was with them and they would still be able to control 3 of the 5 votes. Thus eliminating Sandra next vote out.

And yeah good news on Ethan, he was a good guy. I still laugh when I think about season 3 and Big Tom screaming, "he's Jewish, he can't have bacon." Then dancing around him.

What is with all these balancing challenges? Whoever chose these repetitive challenges should be shot.

Wow, Russel is a sore loser. What a baby. Congrats to Sandra btu I wanted Parvarti to win. She should have.

Is it me or did the balancing challenges give Parvati a natural advantage?

Anyhow, its disappointing to see the least deserving player win, once again, not through her own merits, but through the stupidity of those around her, the spite of the jurors, and the broken "Final Three," system. The fact is, Sandra had no business being in the finals, this is two seasons that Survivor has used the final three and both times it has taken suspense out of the final tribal council and created an entirely underwhelming finale.

Parvati deserved to win. She played a strategic game on par with Russell's with a fairly good social game as well. The jurors should've been forced to decide between the two best players, not be told, well, here's the two best players who have burned all of you, and a woman who has done nothing but be carried along on the merits of her weakness." The final three system gives them an easy out. I probably won't watch the next season that incorporates this broken system.

Super-T, ever apologetic for sassy minority women, no matter how poorly they play the game ;)

I love Sandra and she's always been one of my all-time favorites. But best player ever? **** no. Nor is Parvati. Sorry, but being BFFs with the casting director and getting inside tips on Russell before filming started should be dually noted on her record.

Russell continues to prove why he's one of the dumbest players in Survivor history.

They did, normally you would split the challenges up in different types so that one person wouldn't have that distinctive advantage.

I agree with both counts and include the repetitive use of the hidden idol. Use it once...maybe twice but not god knows how many times.

They should go back to final two as these final three's kill the final tribal council. I hate the fact that everything is rushed, not everyone gets asked a question (or at least a comment towards them), and there is no final statement.

As for the winner, I do agree that Parvati played the best game. Russell went too far at times. She was not as controlling and deceitful as Russell, while having a huge target on her, but doing far more than Sandra ever hoped to ever do.

Ha! I'm so happy, especially at the people crying because Russell lost.

When will people learn you NEVER take someone more likeable than you to the Final Two/Three. The most likeable person to the jury ALWAYS wins. It's been that way since season one!!

Congrats Sandra for being our first double winner!! Shout out to Parvati for playing a great game too and shout to both ladies for completely shutting out Russell in the final vote!

Bring on Survivor Nicaragua!!

I maintain Brian is the best player ever. He played the same game as Russell did in Samoa, controlled everything, ****ed with the heads of everyone, just owned the game, however he was also brilliant in jury selection and final two selection. Yet he seems to be the forgotten genius. Its a pity that Richard Hatch was in jail and that the producer hate Brian because when Rob is Russell's only real competition, it is proof that Heroes vs Villains is sorely lacking. Rob is not as great of a strategist or player as he, the other players, Probst, and the producers act. He was the smartest weak player of the original All-Stars and simply used that to get rid of the strong players who already had huge targets on their back by exploiting idiots like Big Tom, Jerri, and Rupert.

I would've loved to see a REAL villains tribe which included the sadly snubbed Rob C., Brian, and Richard. That would've made the game so much more interesting then the watered down bunch we got.

I'm just thankful that [blackout]Russell[/blackout] didn't win! I was really hoping that Jerri would have made it to the final. :csad:

He basically went off on Sandra, calling her gameplay stupid and how the jury rewarded failure. He kept raising his voice and yelling at Jeff. He wouldnt answer the questions and kept going off topic and tried to boost himself up as the best player. He also kept saying unlike anyon else, he played the game one time bc this happened back to back with his season. Overall, he was a delusional mess

Did you guys vote for the dumbest player? For me that was Eric . I know some say JT, and while what eh did this season was dumb, I thought Eric believing those women and giving up his idol bc they said it would be a way for him to show loyalty was the worst. I also didnt think Colby should have been on there bc I didnt find his move dumb. He knew what he was doing when he chose Tina and that was a risk he took bc he had alot of integrity. Stupid moves are for those who are completely blindsided and are oblivious to what the outcome of their actions will be

I don't think anyone here has cried that Russell lost. In fact, of the four people who posted aside from you, general consensus seems to be that Parv deserved it.

Boston Rob telling Russell he plays for the end-game is pot calling the kettle black. Made the exact same mistake Russell did on All-Stars. Arrogantly flaunted his power, acted like a dick to others and subsequently bombed in front of the jury. At least, Russell didn't reduce himself to fake tears like Rob did.

Mind you, both were overrated idiots who lucked out.

Utterly disgusting that Sandra won. Once again the most worthless, pathetic, coat riding player wins again because the jury is made up of sore losers. Russell is a moron for keeping her worthless ass around. At least America knows who's the player of the season once again.

Russell was right, they were rewarding a failure, she never won ONE challenge and her strategy of getting Russell voted failed. What, just because she didn't piss people off she should've won?? Really? Ultimate survivor my ass.

btw, the person that deserved it was Jerri.

JT won because he is the most recent in people's minds. Mot people probably don't remember Eric, who definitely deserved it. JT made a brilliant play, he just made it in the wrong game :(

Russell isn't really overrated. He has a smart strategic mind. He has a knack for reading players, exploiting their weaknesses to his advantage. And he uses fear and intimidation perfectly. Unfortunately, he lacks any kind of social game. I would be very interested to see him go against players like Lex, Rob C., Rich, and Brian.

I agree, Boston Rob sucks. As far as Survivor strategists go, Boston Rob is bottom of the barrell.

There's no way JT should have won 'dumbest move'. Eric has that one in the bag. :down
