Last night's show was pretty decent, but I'm still waiting for someone to really shake things up. I have a feeling I'm going to keep waiting ...

Brandon showed once again that he is tribal gold. That creepy little turd makes me laugh every time he opens his mouth. He seemed exceptionally freaky last night, like he might be close to snapping.

I think Albert might do it, but not until late in the ame. I could see him and Sophie using the Redemption Island returnee to oust Coach, then the two of them taking Brandon to the final 3 instead of Coach.

I thought Albert was there a couple of times. He just doesn't seem to want to pull the trigger. Someone needs to make a move.

I was really glad to see Cochran get voted out, the guy made a move that was incredibly stupid and nearly certain to end this way so he got what he deserved.

Coach... I was kind of surprised that he didn't go along with voting out Rick since I thought he had a pretty strong four way alliance going with Edna, Cochran and Brandon. Maybe we aren't seeing just how loyal Rick is to Coach....

Why was Edna going off like that in the previews? Why is voting her out any less honest than voting someone else??? Aren't they all in an alliance and therefore any one voted out now is by definition getting shafted?

That was brilliant.

Brandon: "Jeff?"
Jeff: "Brandon" *nods*
Me: "heh, here we go"

Brandon: "I want to do wrong things"
Me: :lmao:

He's a psychopath. I honestly can't wait to see what Uncle Russell has to say about all this.

On another note, I enjoyed watching the youtube videos last year of the juror members showing up at the juror house and seeing the reactions of the people there.

I haven't even caught a glimpse of these until now.

Albert has been trying to make moves, it's Sophie that's holding him back. Sophie is obviously very confident she can beat Coach. But I'm not so sure that's true. Boston Rob said in an interview recently that he has a theory that juries are more likely to vote for a returnee over a newbie because it's harder to admit you were beaten by someone who started on the same level as you.

For those that are interested, in the Youtube search queue look for "Survivor South Pacific Ponderosa".

In the first "Whitney and Dawn" episode you hear Whitney say she had (or has) to be careful how she proceeds with Keith because "there's somebody back home". Yeah....that somebody is your husband you *****.

Whitney is still with Keith and filed for divorce from her husband last month. link

That was brilliant.

Brandon: "Jeff?"
Jeff: "Brandon" *nods*
Me: "heh, here we go"

Brandon: "I want to do wrong things"
Me: :lmao:

Ha! That pretty much summed it up for me as well.

So creepy when he confessed "I want to do wrong things".

Something tells me he has ...

You really need to stop dwelling on this Whitney thing. Unless you're her husband, of course. Which I doubt. :o

No I'm not her husband but I've been married for nearly 18 years and a cop for over 20 now so fidelity and integrity are important to me.

So basically I'll "dwell" on it if I choose too. Accept that or not; that's your choice.

I feel bad for the husband. Your wife just leaves you because of some stranger she met on survivor , then acts like you meant nothing to her , it's shameful.

Like him or hate him, Cochran had the best line of the season:

Cochran (to Jeff Probst): Talking strategy with Brandon is like talking to you about shirts that aren’t blue.

:lmao:

Call me crazy but I think that Cochran is going to upset Ozzy. I think the R.I. duel is due for a puzzle. The past two have been endurance and I think the bocce challenge was the one before that. We're due for a puzzle and last time I checked, Ozzy was still an idiot. Plus the whole Ozzy bragging in the preview seems to be like them setting up for his arrogant demise.

It's not that. It's that Sophie is smarter than Albert. Albert wants to make a move too soon. Albert and Sophie are not in a position to take on Coach yet (and going against him in a tribal council would be just that). Coach has Rick, Edna, and Lil'Hantz wrapped around his finger. Prior to that he had Cochran on his side too. That's five votes. PLUS he holds an immunity idol. Albert and Sophie have not been in a position where they could rally votes against Coach's wishes. To declare war on him at this point would only result in their own demise. That is why I think that they are going to wait until the R.I. player returns. They can blindside Coach using the R.I. player and then carry Lil'Hantz to the finals. The only hitch will be if Coach plays his idol in the final five in which case they will have to blindside Hantz and take the R.I. player to the finals. At any rate, they are simply waiting until they have the numbers, IMO, which won't be until the final five.

I dunno, Ozzy is actually quite good at puzzles. I know in his first season, he won what was supposed to beat the time the hardest puzzle they'd ever done. He did need Jim's help for the Tower Of Hanoi though.

I think Cochran's only chance is if they get one of those silly memory challenges, that are more to do with luck than skill.

Interesting. Although the other hitch would be if the R.I. player (which is probably Ozzy, let's face it) won that last immunity.

I was actually surprised Sophie didn't want to align with Dawn, Whitney and Cochran when they had the chance. Other than going after Edna first (???), I thought that plan made sense. They'd have the numbers advantage over Coach and his followers, and once they're the final 5, just take Cochran to the F3. Maybe she didn't trust Cochran enough to not flip back.

The best move for Coach now would be to get rid of Sophie and Albert, and go to the final 3 with Edna, Brandon or Rick....but I don't think he will. He values his honor and integrity too much.

Ozzy's intelligence seems to have faded between seasons. Then again, Cochran was pretty pathetic with the ropes. Still, I think that an upset would be tremendous.

I think the reason that Sophie did not do that is because it would ruin her shot at winning. Upolo would hate her for betraying them and Savaii would never vote for Sophie over one of their own.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

OH, SO CLOSE! For a second with that flick, I thought Cochran did and upset Ozzy! Oh well!

Nice job by Jeff, pointing out the positives in Cochran's stay on the show.

Oh man, they should've cast Russell's brother over Lil'Hantz.

As for Coach, he is making a brilliant move in befriending Ozzy. It nips any chance of mutiny from Albert and/or Sophie in the bud.

What is it Brandon and women? He seems gravitated towards bullying them. lol, it's genuinely off-putting to me now.

Yeah, but Coach made a smart move in carrying him. Edna seems to have no resentment towards Coach. She will still give him her vote. If Brandon is ousted early, there is no telling what he will do.

Yeah, I'm calling bull **** on the preview. Even if Edna did beat Ozzy, they wouldn't give it away like that. Ozzy is probably going to pull off an epic comeback.

Yeah, Ozzy isn't going to lose the duels anytime soon. I'm just genuinely curious what the logic has been in Albert and Sophie's heads at this point. Do they not suddenly realize they've gifted him the game at this point? Rick isn't going to make anything resembling a move, and Brandon isn't lucid enough to do so. :o

I'm not buying it either. Although I'd be upset they spoiled that for us.

Also I agree , Russel's brother might of been a decent player. Also Edna's sister was kinda cute.

I don't think Russel's brother would've been very good in the long run though...he seemed too headstrong and bullish even in the short time we saw him. That being said, I'm sure the Survivor producers are salivating at the chance to have another Hantz on the show.

**** this season. Utterly predictable.
