Brandon looks absolutely terrified. I think he knows that he ****ed up and that Albert wouldn't do the same for him. Probst pushing Albert to answer whether or not he would is a fine example of why Jeff is the best reality host on TV.

Oh Coach, what were you thinking? I mean, Brandon = million dollars. Phillip Shepard his ass to the end!

Jeff is amazing. I can't imagine this show without him. I also can't believe what I just saw. If I was in Albert's position I would of felt really guilty.

I'm actually happy Brandon wigged out. It means that Coach's path to the finale isn't as clear cut anymore. I can't imagine everyone will buy the "honor and integrity" junk at this point.

Normally I'd say, "Its Survivor. A million bucks is on the line, do what you need to do." Like Johnny Fairplay's move for example, brilliant strategy in my book. But Albert's move....I dunno, he basically took Brandon's religion and completely played it against him. It was a move on par with Coach's mind ****ing of Cochran, only much more personal due to the deeply personal nature of religion. It made me feel bad for Brandon. Watching the normally outspoken man, sitting in tribal council, quietly answering Probst with "Yes sir," or "No sir," like a scared child....it was pathetic and really made me feel for the kid.

The whole "God told me to" mentality Brandon had was just strange. I'm a pretty traditional Christian, but I can't really sympathize with someone who ignores common sense in favor of religion. Albert had been acting shady and was obviously paying lip service. He was smart enough to recognize when Dawn was doing it earlier in the season. It felt like he gave up to be honest.

Albert's in a bad spot , I understood why he manipulated lil Hantz but part of me thinks I would of handed the necklace back out of guilt.

I don't have a problem with anyone using religion as a crutch in this game. It just means I'll be rolling my eyes at them for all the ridiculous gaffes.

If Coach were smart he would have convinced Brandon it would be a bad idea to give the idol to Albert. Keeping Albert over Brandon was a dumb move as Albert will sell him out the first chance he gets, while Brandon was ridiculously loyal to him to a point that he would probably eat his own **** if Coach asked him to. Not to mention having Brandon in the final 3 with him would help his chance in winning the game.

By giving immunity to Albert, Brandon sealed his fate. Coach had no choice but to get rid of Brandon as if he sided with Brandon and Albert he would have to eliminate Sophie or Rick. Most likely it would have been Sophie and that would leave Rick having doubts with Coach. Combine that with sell-his-soul-to-win-Albert, Ozzie's most likely return next week, and Brandon's unpredictable behaviour and he would have been less secure in the game.

Now by keeping Rick and Sophie, both of which hate Albert and don't like Ozzy. they will stay loyal to Coach. However in doing so this puts Coach in a worse situation in winning the game as he would have been far better with going to the end with Rick and Brandon.

The final poll for this season is now up! Who do you want to win?

Brandon needs to get off the tv screen.Thank god after the reunion show we don't have to see him anymore.

I thought the poll said who do you think will win. I want Coach to win. I think Sophie will win.

Brandon said it best when he arrived at RI, that Survivor is not the right game for him. Seeing him go from the arrogant, psychotic, future hooker killer in previous episodes to the naive, scared little boy in last night's tribal council was a stunning turn around.

While Albert's put on a clinic in his manipulation of Brandon, I think he just guaranteed himself the award of most hated person on Survivor right now. He won't get a single vote from the current jury members and his own tribe mates would probably prefer to toss the money in the fire than give it to him.

My money's on Sophie walking away with the check.

I loved last night's episode and I really enjoyed seeing Brandon go. He is just a complete wacko and I hope we get to hear some comments from Russell.

Albert did nothing wrong. He didn't ask for immunity, and giving it back would've 100% resulted in him being voted out instead. Smart move to keep it, even smarter move to pass the buck to Coach as being the reason Brandon got voted out. Though Brandon didn't really seem to care and gave Coach an easy out with the "God's will" stuff.

I'm leaning towards Sophie as well. Her strategy reminds of Parvatti a bit.

I wouldn't be surprised if Russell was too embarrassed to go to the reunion show. Every time he sees "Russell's nephew," on screen it must boil his blood with embarrassment. :funny:

Haha! You're probably right Matt. It doesn't sound like there are all that tight and I can't imagine Russell enjoys the game his nephew is playing.

That one tribal council pretty much eliminated Albert and Coach from standing a chance at winning the jury's favor. Very poorly played by both of them.

Sophie or Ozzy (if he makes it back) should win this. If both make it to the final three it will be interesting.

I still think that Coach has the inside track to winning this game since I think the other tribe perceives him to be the one who controlled the game. In the end it comes down to whether or not people vote for the one who played the best or who ruffled the fewest feathers.

I hope that Coach wins the game, from what's been shown he clearly has been the driving force in his tribe and has managed to get himself into a great position.

Brandon was epically stupid in giving up his idol and I don't think the jury will look harsly on Coach for voting him out. It just makes sense that if someone with the idol gives it to the one being voted out then that person will get voted out instead.

LOL, Brandon has to be the biggest buffoon in Survivor history. Giving his necklace to Albert was soo dumb.

At this point I hope Ozzy somehow wins because I really don't want any of the Upolu members to win. Also because in pretty much every Redemption challenge they have all been helping to beat him.

Season finale is this Sunday, means I don't have to wait a couple of days to watch who wins. :woot:

Haven't posted in this thread all season but have still been watching.

I agree with the few of you that have said Sophie's going to take the million tomorrow night.

I feel like Ozzy greatly over-estimates how much the jury will appreciate what he has done at Redemption. The fact of the matter is, he was voted out. Twice. I don't think the jury will be so forgiving regarding that. Survivor is a game of more than challenges.

Then again, this jury is particularly spiteful, it seems.

I agree Ozzy doesn't deserve to win the money but damn he's a beast at the challenges lately.

Smart move for Coach is to vote out Sophie and hope like hell that either he or Albert can beat Ozzy. After Albert's move on Hantz, Coach would be a shoe-in against useless Rick and Albert I think.
