Syfy Nearing Series Order For "12 Monkeys" Adaptation

I too felt the finale was a bit off from what we're used too. Cassie being sent forward; so when she dies in 2017, she has already been through all the time travel stuff we're yet to see, so at some point she is sent back. Her splintering felt forced….

The more I think about it the less sense it makes. Cassie being thrown in the future would create a time paradox. For Cole to be rescued in Chechnya in 2017 Cassie must send the military there. Then she gives Cole the note which saves his life in 2015. From 2015 - 2017 Cassie is frantically trying to develop a cure but succumbs to the virus and dies. If none of those things happen then Cole never gets the mission and the two never meet in 2013. So now we are to assume that Cassie will be inoculated in 2043 and then somehow still dies in 2017? Idk, maybe this supervirus can adapt to the medicines of the future?

The finale scene with Jennifer. So she's the one who spreads the virus; looks like it was 12 suit cases. I assume the kids weren't in those cases, so she spreads the virus and the kids were created to what..combat it in the future..? Confused about that part...

12 kids, 12 destinations, 12 suitcases, army of the 12, 12 Monkeys, 12 Emperor Palpatines (lol, thx Hunter Rider) I think they're over doing it.

Jennifer is hilarious though and I really enjoy her. I was seriously rolling w/ her dodo bird bit. Also, I was completely lost w/ the 12 isn't a Prime Number bit from earlier in the season so thanks to her I actually took the time to look up that utterly useless knowledge.

Well i assume that she is sent back to 2015, without being given the vaccine, or the entire time stream will unravel, as it was the discovery of her message and watch that starts this whole thing. So she still needs to die in 2017. But then again, maybe it creates an alternate future..like when she was killed after being taken out of the night room, and Cole and Aaron had to rescue her to restore Cole's version of 2043. Maybe the attack on the facility as we saw it in the finale, is a result of Cassie not dying at the CDC…?

And, am i the only one who did not like the introduction of a working time machine in 2015? Things are really going to get confusing now that there is another fuctional (but limited)machine. My head hurts just thinking about it.

Lastly, after the inital attack by West 7, you would think that they woud take precautions to seal up all the tunnels that Deacon conveniently found.:whatever:

Kind of mixed on the finale. Definitely the series' weakest episode to date for sure.

I'm glad the bromance seems to be back but the way the whole thing went about as described by blksuperman2 makes it annoying as hell.

I guess we now know how Cassie got her hands on Jones' home address. I hated this part of the episode. Sending Cass to the future? :whatever:

Mystery woman and grey faces must be working with intel from an alternate timeline. For some reason they assumed Ramse's role in this series would be over. And the grey faces sure as hell weren't expecting Cassie to be popping up.

Almost done with episode 2 now. This show is awesome! Seriously was not expecting to like it this much. I love Jennifer Goines too. I mean, none of it can live up to the greatness of the movie or Pitt as Jefferey but this really is surprisingly good.

Yes it is. Enjoy the ride, because it gets real good. One of my favorite shows of the season.

Not going to lie, on the finale, I fist pumped when Cole went back for Ramse.

I finished 4 episodes tonight. It's gone some places I wasn't really feeling, the West VII sounds cool but it was kinda boring for me. Still loving it, just needs more crazy Jenny. I love her.

I question whether or not I want to know.

It does seem like Cole and Cassie are having fun, which is a switch.

I've been binging season 1 this weekend and while I've been loving it I'm not at all a fan of Ramsey turning on everyone. Kirk Acevedo really needs to stop playing characters like this. When he shows up in something it seems inevitable that his character will either betray people that trusted him or that he will do something monumentally dumb based on shallow idiotic logic.

head's up, new season starts April 18

While browsing the interwebs I stumbled upon the first episode. Was it leaked early? Anyway, now I have to wait until the 25th to watch Episode 2. Damn you internet!!!

I saw ep 1 had an earlier release date, and I was wondering if the date had changed. But watching Wynonna Earp this morning, there were ads for 12 Monkeys that still said April 18th for the premiere.

new seasons start the 18th but SyFy been airing the other season and thought some might want to refresh watching them again or maybe have some new viewers check it out

Sorry, I didn't clarify. I've already seen the premiere episode. I meant to say 1st episode of Season 2. It's out there on torrent sites and anywhere else you might find questionable content. I was weak and had to watch it. Same thing happened to me last yr when the first 4 episodes of GoT were leaked early and I had to wait 4 weeks to watch the 5th one.

Umm, should I be concerned at how much Jennifer's crazy school girl/militia get up does it for me...
