Do you ink it and pencil it than mess with the contrast???

Most of my stuff is pencil and paper. Lately i've been using photoshop to add subtle colors to some drawings (as opposed to coloring them fully for time's sake). The Nurse pic is just a pencil sketch that was scanned and contrast adjusted. Here's an example of the colors of a pencil sketch being slightly altered in PS.

And this is also the Scarecrow I was telling you about sfa (where I took your glove idea but changed it up a bit - the changed being that they are on the outside of the suit rather than tucked into the suit)

DK7's talk of drawing contests had me itching to sketch something out so I hopped onto the nurse Joker bandwagon. Only a quick sketch and I, sadly enough, royally screwed up the proportions with the arms, and it really doesn't compare to some of the stellar stuff posted so far but figured I'd share none the less.

I thought the smoke would be a cool effect, making it look very HOT, as you can tell this is a different design TwoFace than my last one that I posted....

I made his hand slightly scarred as if he went to touch his face and the acid burnt his hand ...

Alright here is my Joker...

So I tried to go for a newer style (still sticking to my animated look)...but tried to make it look a bit more fresh, not so choppy, not sooo TAS...

I also went for something different, just like I said

Rather than a knife, needle, blood, scary kind of Joker (not puting anyones work down - just explaining)

I made it a bit more...joking...

A bit more, quite creepy Joker...

Instead of loud, scary BLOOD, KILL Joker...I made it more like...

"WOOPS!...was that his lifeline I just unplugged?"
