Why do you think that? That review was written by someone less informed than the members on this board. That person obviously didn't see all the trailers.
nolan stated that Dent comes in early in the movie. The review mentions that Dent comes in the second half as the 'new symbol of hope'.
Plus, the review didn't feel like a review.

The film lays a foundation of dread in the first half hour but quickly changes as soon as Harvey Dent walks on screen and unleashes a train wreck of good intentions
The person who posted this is a user on IMDb. We're currently asking him spoilerific questions. Personally, I have my doubts about his legitimacy.

This review is weird. It's THE biggest film of the summer and he gives this rather bland review. I mean he seemed to like it a lot. But the entire plot and everyone involved took a backseat to his overall theme of Heath Ledger.
It reads like a review from someone who either doesn't know how to write a proper review, or didn't really see the film at all and guessed.
My sentiments exactly. Even the headline, with great respect to the late, brilliant Ledger, doesn't seem to grasp how anticipated the film is.The review is really vague. It doesn't really seem like a review at all.
It's like this quote I found in RottenTomatoes from some critic.....
"There's nothing particularly wrong with Begins, but in a way, that's exactly what's wrong with it." - Las Vegas Weekly.
People, especially critics, need to get over their expectations and take the movie for what it is....

So is anyone here going to be able to see this before its actual release date? If i play my cards right, I'll be seeing this two days before it comes out.
when you see the real reviews you'll note that the reviewers tend to expand on the scenes that are generally known from the trailers. Since the trailers are chocked full of Heath's performances and his review gave him a vague mention, that shows he didn't really see the movie or all the previews. Believe me, he said nothing that shows he saw the movie. Why do you think that?
I know, something just doesn't smell right about that review (the one I posted). This person knew they were going to be one of the first out there about one of the MOST ANTICIPATED films of the year...and it's so bland, so vague seemed centered around Ledger. It just didn't seem to make sense to me.I concur. It's funny how some people crave attention so much they make up **** just so they can have their 15 seconds of fame. Not saying the review isn't legit but I still remember a couple of posters a while back claiming they had seen the trailers and coming up with the stupidest claims that were later put down
I strongly think this is a typo, but this theater where I live has showtimes listed on Fandango beginning on July 11th. This is most likely not true, but I'm still gonna call anyway and see if it is, a Batman fan can dream. So is anyone here going to be able to see this before its actual release date? It's the link for TV Spot #9.
