Saw it at the IMAX last night was soooooooooooooooooooo cool.

Really enjoyed the film, joker was great!

Also is it me or did I read that there where extra scenes in the imax verison?

I've seen it it both types of screen, While i noticed more in the standard screen i'm pretty sure theres nothing extra in the Imax version.

Anyone picked up Batman: Gotham Knight with Batman Begins on DVD?

you talking about the anime? some of the stories are ok but nothing special, the first story is completly stupid.

Yeah...

1) Kevin Conroy

2) Some nice animation

Thats really all it has to offer... And i don't even think Conroy was at his best :csad::csad::csad:

I got the Region 1 2 disk version.

The extras are much better, there is a really good documentary about Bob Kane.

I would recommend that version

I was blown away by the Imax. I'm pretty sure if you watched it again, you would notice the extra 20% odd picture at the top and bottom of the screen.

20%, you sure...considering wasn't it only six major scenes filmed on it?

OR was the other cinema's you've seen it at on the wrong size screen?

;)

Man I love this movie, I seen it 9 times. I can't stop listening to Soundtrack.

Thank you Mr Nolan & Co. :batty:

finally seen it in IMAX (luckily there were some seats left in the Glasgow one and luckily I was in Scotland). You just have to watch it in IMAX if you havent already, even saw the Watchmen trailer

It is kinda scary and I'm 13 and even I jumped at some parts but it should remain a 12A or maybe they should've just given it a solid 12 rating so anyone 12 or over could watch it.
When I got my ticket for TDK they said I was an adult. :D

You're just saying that because you still want to be able to see it and if its a 15 you want be able to.

Soundtrack is great, and 9 times wow! Seeing it at the IMAX was the best .

I'm quoting you purely because your Av. is outstanding.

I'm sure it felt like there were new scenes. The only scene that was different, that i noticed, was Alfred burning Rachel's letter at the end. In standard theaters u get just a shot of his hands but at Imax u get a full shot of him burning the letter. Nothing major really.

By the way people, never go to Odeon Leicester Square to watch movies, the sound quality there absolutely sucks, no surround sound can u believe that! Better off spending u money going to imax, its actually cheaper.

Yeah I think we really got screwed in the UK with the DVD version of Gotham Knight, the Blu Ray came with all the extra features including the Bob Kane documentary though. I enjoyed Gotham Knight, but I agree at first there was something a bit off about the way Conroy was voicing Batman, although it did get better as the movie went on. The first story is one that's been done before on BTAS it was called Legends Of The Dark Knight, not sure why they chose to repeat it in this movie.

Been to see Dark Knight twice now, enjoyed it as much on the second viewing as the first, haven't seen it on IMAX but I bet it looks amazing.

Keyser Soze! If you look in the GIF/Avvy thread they have your avvy but have changed it. Did you know this?

TDK was worth the wait. I saw it on the 4th of August! I wanna see it again though! I hope the DVD release won't take that long. Halloween would be a pretty good date for it to be released on!

so BFI's London IMAX just added 3 more weeks of screenings of The Dark Knight. It's now showing until 16th October. This is the third time they've added extra dates.

I hope it does. what's the point if Nolans cut from its original?

8th of December is pretty good and I have noticed DVD's seem to be released quite quickly.
