I've FINALLY gotten down to making a move to do a compilation of the ARG. I thought the hardest things would be figuring out how to make the Joker flash games work, but it turns out that's only the beginning. :o

IBIHD is down. I don't think it's gone, since I don't get an error, but I haven't been able to access the entire thing for 2 days. It makes me kinda :cmad: since it was easily the biggest page in the entire game.

Also, I'm looking through my computer and apparently I only took low-quality screenshots of the various Gotham City sites before they were Jokerized. I'll look through the Wayback Machine to see if they're still on 42E's servers, but if anyone has any good screenshots of any of the pages, could you post them here?

Also, there were some things I didn't think to save before they got changed. 49 locations seems to be gone for good. If it isn't, I can't find where the flash files are stored. The Wiki has some pretty good screenshots of it, so I could make some kind of mockup, but if anyone has HQ screenshots of that, it would be highly appreciated. :yay:

I didn't think to save IBIHDT either, but I've found some pretty good animations in older SHH threads so I think I'm taken care of there. (Man, everyone HATED that first pic of Joker! :lmao: )

We've been trying to look for Rory as well. I managed to extract layers of old rotten Two-Face Rory sans candle, but the earlier versions of him seem to be gone.

I know this is very late in coming, but after having taken some more graphic design and typography classes, I think I'm finally somewhat ready to tackle this thing. My goal is to eventually get everything onto a CD, make it interactive, and send it off to anyone who wants. As well as some of our :ninja: at 42E, since there's nobody there archiving this stuff to begin with. :funny:

An ambitious project to say the least...if anyone is qualified and/or crazy enough to try it's you. :cwink:

I'd certainly covet an interactive CD of the viral madness...good luck.

I know. :o I know someone who worked on the ARG tried collecting everything, but gave up when he realized there were at least 400 updates over those webpages. :funny:

I imagine it'll end up somewhat like the Wiki, except hopefully I'll be able to figure out how to embed the Joker games and get them to work without having to link to them. Plus I'm planning to make it look "in-game," so I'll have to ignore some of the little updates as well.

And what I mean by "interactive" is more like "offline webpage database" rather than having everything hooked up to Flash. I hate that. :oldrazz:

Anita, i love that your making a compilation! I am a huge fan of these games! I miss them :(

Hey Anita,

Have you checked this page out yet? It has almost everything from the campaign (website wise, anyway). May find more than you're looking for...

Haha, I HAD actually seen the page, but didn't realize that many of the sites were mirrors. Woot!

49 location still gone though. :csad:

The Dentmobile map still isn't working for me when I save the .swf file either....I should figure out how to do that. Or...not, if I get lazy and just forget about those details. :funny:
