I'm in Canada. It's not out until May 2, aside from some early screenings on May 1.

Spoiler tags exist for a reason, please be a little more considerate and mindful of what you're posting.

To be honest, why would you go into a thread that is specifically comparing two films and not expect spoilers? Why would you go into that thread if you haven't seen one/or both of the films?

The spoilers they're referring to aren't pertaining to either of the films being compared in the title of this thread, so it's understandable, imo.

Sorry, wasn't my intention to spoil anything. I was really referring to the comic book "the night Gwen Stacey died", which has been out for 35 years. I even brought up that comic back in 2008 when TDK did what it did. FWIW, I have not seen TASM2, I don't know what happens, but I'm assuming a lot. I mean it's Gwen Stacey guys.

I've been avoiding the trailers to go in as unspoiled as possible. I haven't seen anything past the first trailer and every time a TV spot comes on, I change the channel. I usually do that with most big comic book movies I'm very excited for.
Secondly, since I haven't seen the trailers so I can't attest to this, if all it says is "everything changes", that's a pretty generic description that a lot of big blockbusters use to promote their films. It really doesn't hint at anything specifically in my eyes.
It doesn't take two seconds to wrap something up in spoiler tags. Plus this is a thread discussing TDK and CA, didn't think I'd have any problems in here.
We're getting off topic now and I'm done whining about this as in the grand scheme of things its not really a big deal, but my point remains: spoiler tags, folks!

I apologize if anyone was spoiled by this thread. With that said, Sony has shown both the before and after in their trailers and released a poster modeled after [blackout]ASM#121[/blackout], but still, I see y'all's point.

The Winter Soldier definitely. I was shocked at how good it was! Talk about a sequel done right!

The ending is pretty damn incredible and Ledger isn't even in that part of the film. One of the best endings ever.

I would tolerate the ending if someone would admit the Joker won by manipulating Batman into making the incredibly stupid decision of trading a living active incorruptible symbol and hero for a dead martyr.

Obviously for me its not even a contest TWS.

Harvey Dent was a public hero and a face, people learning he was corrupt would have destroyed everything. Harvey Dent was the White Knight of Gotham, where's Batman was a vigilante who broke into peoples' apartments.
