When Bane [BLACKOUT]broke batman over his knee[/BLACKOUT] the audience went INSANE. It was amazing.

10/10
its everything I coulda hoped for
I enjoyed this more as a comic book fan than anything else

I can't believe the end when it
All turned out to be joel schmacher's dream during a nap on set of Batman and Robin

Risky of nolan to do that.

I thought it was great. The plot felt convoluted at times but it was an excellent finale. 10/10.

Just got back from seeing it at King of Prussia IMAX. It was fantastic. Emotional, exhilarating, thrilling, other adjectives. Bane was truly a menacing villain; the first fight he has with Batman is brutal as hell.

The audience went nuts several times, clapping and cheering.

Honestly, I can't understand why anyone who liked the previous two movies would not like this one. I'm not judging--everyone has the right to their own opinion. But I think this was the best possible way to end the franchise. Christopher Nolan has done the impossible: made a fantastic Batman trilogy.

I liked this overall, but I think the middle part was a bit too long and bit convoluted. Yet, the powerful ending made up for nearly all of it. this movie took most risks but had bit of 'weight' to it as well. I have mixed feelings but I liked it.

Actually, that scene was hella uncomfortable for me to watch. And I wasn't the only one.

As the whole fight went on, there was gasping and short little cries and shouts of "come on, Batman!". One of my friends curled up in her seat then finally covered her eyes up ("I can't watch it").

When the moment you describe happened, the audience gasped in, then groaned. The person in front of me was doing his best to not cry when it happened. Nobody was expecting it, and when it happened, I'd almost be willing to bet that a lot of people in the theater felt some pain...

Standing ovation when it ended; well-deserved. I do have some issues with the film, but it is officially my all-time favorite movie.

Just got in from a 2.5hr drive... will post review in morning.. Too tired. Sleep.

Just felt like it could've been... Spectacular. Like insanely good. It needed to be longer in my opinion or they had to cut out some of the unnecessary stuff and replace it with character development, especially cotillard. I have to admit it was very emotional but I can't shake the feeling that on the cutting room floor are the pieces to an absolute masterpiece of that makes sense. I'm torn. The ending was outstanding though.

It's 5:55 in the morning, I'm not sure what to think of this movie right now and first and foremost...that's utterly sad considering the high amount of hope I had for this film.

Let me start this off by saying, I REALLY think I need more viewings of this movie...perhaps to let some parts that rubbed me the wrong way soak in better and me have a clearer vison. I liked it but it all really comes down to this...

I REALLY disliked John Blake and how things ended up. I think it's a really piss on the franchise to have the possibility of Blake's character taking up the role of the Bat..which DOES NOT make sense with the marketing of the film with the "legend ending."

What was really the point of having Blake come into the Batcave at all? I felt that his character was in the movie WAY too much and could have benefited the film more with being completely written off, giving the Bruce Wayne struggle to deal with Bane's fight so much more compelling...

PLEASE, someone explain why this works for you at all so you can help me better understand it. Cause I've been in a four hour discussion with my brother about it...and we're still not digging it.

Doesn't work for me.
Sort of cheapens all the struggles Bruce had to go through when a scrawny cop can just continue the legacy.

Yeah I'm struggling with this ending this morning. Someone help explain because I'm getting upset now :(

I totally agree, that whole fight scene was painful to watch. Batman seemed to desperate, and Bane pretty much knew everything Batman did, but better. But when Bane picked up Batman, I let it all go and got a huge smile on my face and we all roared with cheers as he broke his back. SO GOOD. Nolan gave us the fans that moment. :hrt:

Completely agree. I liked John Blake just fine, but his whole ending was just almost unnecessary. They could've showed that Batman inspired people a different way. The whole Robin/Blake going into the bat-cave thing was a bit too much.

The movie had a few flaws, some editing seemed odd at times, and the stock trading plot was a little muddled to me but overall I loved it. Possibly my favorite of the trilogy, it had a grip on my emotions the entire way through. After the ending I was shaking. I really couldn't have asked for much more in the finale of Nolan's trilogy

I loved that....it was so intense, I started feeling panic and fear....I don't remember the last time a movie did that to me.

But it didn't ruin it a la Spidey 3 and Venom, though.

i totally agree with you and on the spoiler. I can honestly say that as for how good the film was im a bit disappointed in Nolan and im getting weary of his claws in my Superman movie coming out in 2013.

I have a question for everyone now:

Should Loki... err... Blake receive his own film?
when you lost your virginity? :woot: Or has it still not happened? :oldrazz:

Unless he lost it to a movie, this makes no sense!

Some of you guys make it seem as though you've just experienced a "this is your uncle's actual killer" moment. It's nothing like that at all, in my opinion. I liked what unfolded in the film. I thought it was a clever way to conclude the trilogy.

Just got home..and i have no words! What a perfect end to the greatest Superhero trilogy ever created. And the thing is..the more i actually sit down and think about that movie..the more i like it. I'm gonna go watch it again and enjoy it even more, if thats even possible. Alot of truely epic moment through out the film and Bane is a beast!

I especially loved
Jonathan Crane as a Judge. So you choose death or exile commisioner? Fair enough. Death...by exile

Bane's voice and expressions are excellent. Hes the most imposing villian in the trilogy by far.

Batman stole the show for me. I felt for him through out.
