Do not think I will be picking up Krul's run

The team and the art look fab but I think Krul is a lame choice to write the comic book

How is he a lame choice? His take on the Titans so far has been pretty damn good with Blackest Night and he's really written only one bad story (take a guess which one ).

Green Arrow is boring and unrelatable. Blackest Night: Titans was mediocre and melodramatic. Krul's run on the Titans before that -- while perfectly readable and harmless at best -- featured a completely different cast of characters than the current Teen Titans and was, at worst, basically a waste of an entire year of the franchise with issue after issue of "WHO WILL LEAVE THE TITANS NEXT? IS IT STARFIRE? IS IT CYBORG??"

No offense, but I have no idea why people expect Krul to save this broken series other than pure wishful thinking. Even if Krul's resume wasn't as middling as it is, Teen Titans has still become one of DC's worst books. I almost wouldn't wish Teen Titans on DC's best writers, much less one of its most unimpressive.

That's what I was thinking. Just take 'em off the table for a while and then relaunch them properly. Ravager can stay the f*** home for it, although they probably would want to install Damian since he's the kid who's currently being called "Robin." I could bear him with a decent writer and a direction that's actually more interesting than "team shake-up, random adventures, something with Raven, rinse, repeat."

Why wouldn't you wish it on a good writer?

It's a comic, not a curse. A good writer with a good creative direction could turn it around in an instant.

Any hypothetical good writer would probably crash headfirst into the editorial direction for the comic which has kept it steadfastly between "slightly worse than mediocre" and "****ing terrible".

If there were ever a Damien/Ravager idea I could get behind it's the idea of there being bunches of disposable spares of them lying around for when the two of them (ideally very frequently) die.
