Action-Adventure TENET

Has anyone seen the movie Mindscape with Mark Strong and Taissa Farmiga? Reminiscence is like Mindscape/Inception set in Blade Runner. At least IMO!

Joseph Gordon Levitt

:p
:(

Thank you, next.

Yeah... Ugh she’s SO perfect for it. My dream is for it to be her 4th collaboration with Bale but it’s not looking likely with Bale’s next being with DOR. So I’ll settle for Amy and whoever.

The only thing holding me back is I think Jonah might want to direct it instead. But then again, he’s busy with Westworld.

Hugh Jackman gave one of his career-best performances in The Prestige. Would be cool to see him work with Nolan again. He's a big enough name to help sell to audiences for box office purpose as well.

Not a big fan of a science fiction movie surrounding memories. Mainly because the idea of it immediately made me think of the Robin Williams movie The Final Cut and the Black Mirror episode The Entire History of You.

Some folks are saying he is doing 'Reminiscence' written by Lisa Joy of Westworld fame.

Has a redhead female lead.
Set in a Blade Runner type world
Action set pieces.
Love story.

Also, I have that script.

Who is saying that? Interesting thing is Legendary bought that script years ago and they now work with Universal instead of WB. Wonder if WB would have to buy the script from Legendary.

This might be an unpopular opinion but I hope it’s an adaption and not another original work. I’d be curious to see if Nolan can pull off the first successful western anime/manga adaption if he does end up making Akira.

Fam, all you gotta do is ask and the script is yours.

Somehow I don't see it being Akira.

Taika Waititi is still attached to Akira.

Nah, I don't like reading scripts before a movie comes out. Who is saying that Nolan is involved with that particular script? Is it industry people you know? Just curious.

From what I understand it's pretty similar to Inception. If that's the project he has chosen, would not shock me if they convert it into an Inception sequel. Would sure as heck help them on the marketing side of it.

Them reddit detectives made the connection. It mostly has to do with the writer working on westworld with Jonathan Nolan. That is the only connection at the moment.

Yeah, Jonah's wife Lisa Joy. Would not be the first time Jonah's side of the family inspired a Chris Nolan movie...Memento and Interstellar being the prime examples of this.

Damn. I didn't know she was now part of the Nolan family. Gives more cred to this next film conspiracy. I wonder if Nolan ever helps out his ''other brother'' that no one really knows about. I believe he had the nickname of ''Convict Nolan''..

Wasn't the other brother accused of murder in recent years?

I'm surprised you didn't know this!

And yeah, the other brother is apparently a murderer, so I'm guessing the other two aren't gonna be "helping him out" anytime soon.

Don't really know. I just saw a mugshot and they called him the other Nolan. lol

Damn.

I mean, at least put money on his account to buy those food baskets that they have in prison. I would if he were my brother. :o

Great to see him back to work. As other have said a Horror film from Nolan would be something I'd be up for, but I couldn't see it being a traditional slasher type of movie. Psychological horror would be more his thing.

Just looking over his last film Dunkirk, it's funny, I watched it opening day and whilst it was without a doubt a technical masterpiece it left me feeling like there wasn't much of a story in the film. But, almost a year to the day after it came out I watched it on Netflix and the experience was a 180 degree difference. The film got me hard. By the end I was an emotional mess. The film is amazing, and it might very well be his best movie.
