Ha! So much for the PG-13 rating, if it does come in #2. Incredibly disappointing, but if it sends a message to the studios not to puss out on ratings to make it more open to a wider audience, the better.

So do you think that it will go up or fall today? I'm thinking a 5 to 10% increase but I wouldn't be surprised if it fell today.
I can't believe people who are interested in this are thinking of not seeing it.
:facepalmoh, and they all live in rich hollywood neighborhoods where it costs $15 a pop to see a movie
so yea, I wouldn't try to rack your brain around their logic either, not worth it
well most of these people are drones who let critics do their thinking for them instead of judging for themselves

JAL? Is that you...?![]()
Funny you mention that. I thought the same thing...
Nope, The Halcyon Co. owns it, WB/Columbia Pictures just distributes it. The Halcyon Company loses more on the ticket sales. This is incredibly embarrassing for Warners.

Huge blow to McG's career as well. He acted like the big tough Hollywood bigshot and talked up a huge game, really made it seem like he knew what he was doing. He'll be stuck back on TV shows for now.
Uh, no. McG is already up to his ass in pre-production on 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Captain Nemo for Disney next year.
The Terminator franchise might be dead, but it's foolish to go around saying McG's is too.
I've just been lucky this year.I don't know... you are the resident box office Guru on the hype... what do you see next weekend???
And all I can say is... didn't Watchmen gross more in 5 days? That's sad... Thank God WB has Potter this year because this is flop number two. Luckily they did not produce this film.
Yeah. I think it's safe to say that if Bale was going to be some kind of draw it would be with this kind of movie. According the Mojo's estimates.Frankly, it's embarrassing for all parties involved. What was considered a major coup in getting Bale to headline the film (who was paid a fortune and inked a three-picture deal seperate from his Batman contract - which will now be a "one and out" situation) turned out not to matter at all to the general public.
Not to mention, spending millions of dollars for the sole purpose of putting Arnold on screen for barely a minute (i.e. paying Arnold for the rights to his likeness as well as the body double Roland Kickinger and the expensive CGI) proved to be utterly pointless.
