Max Shreck.

I guess I'm beat there, Hey ever since Mr. Mom put on the cape and cowl I have been keeping my hero casting 2cents to my self. But this is James Rhodey Vietnam pilot and best friend to the baddest character in the Marvel U. so I'm invested.

Right on.

Yea, I'm hyped too.
IronMan is so underrated as a comic character and comicbook. This'll be swizzzeet. :yay:

I dont think ironman is underrated, he's far from it imo. Over the past year and a bit he's had massive exposure.

By underrated I think he is not as well known as a comic character. He doesn't get the respect he deserves. Look right now I'm logged on and discussing the character and no one else is online. It is 1 am on a friday night (and Im home cause I got work at 8 am) and no one else is looking at the thread. If you were to go to Battys thread there'd be 25 people viewing, theres 10 on Wolverine's and even 50 or so on Spideys. So that's pretty underrated or atleast not respected enough to me.

Most people know Batman, Superman, some of the Xmen, Blade(cause of the movies), Spidey ofcourse, the Fantastic Four, etc. I think if more people knew of the character and/or read his comics instead of passing by them at the store they'd appreciate him like we do. You see, his competition was plentyful, and if more people knew him or respected him he'd compete better with The Dark Knight at the boxoffice. I wish TDK all the best luck but I love seeing Marvel do better.:oldrazz:

hey, supes fan here, but I must say I am really looking forward to I.M...It looks to be awesome...

Maybe not War Machine in this film, but in the future. I'm not sure yet.

Not likely in the first film. But Favreau did give a few hints about the possibility of Rhodes donning the War Machine armor in a sequel. Though, I wouldn't mind some sort of prelude to it in the first.

Dennis Hayspert was ready-made for this for role. A little time in the gym and he would have been perfect. If you have seen The Unit on CBS then you know what I am talking about.

By the time a GL movie comes around, Haysbert's day will be long past.

Damn right-he's been acting for close to 20 years, and is just now being overexposed.

Please explain how he is overexposed.

No dude, it's just I have total recall of every black major actor since Sanford and Son-film and television.

I remeber Dennis Heyyyyybert, from the Cosby show, he was denis'e boyfriend-his head was just as big and he still talked alot. Coming from that, and his small appearance in the great Michael Mann movie 'Heat'

"Why you wit me woman??...There ain't a hard time come around that i can't handle!"

Then he was subsequently killed in an armed robery attempt. The point is...somethin:whatever: . Oh yea he was that ******* in waiting to exhale, and then when he became the President on 24 he was showin up all the damn time. NOW-he's on the unit, which is a great show-if all the soldiers went on a mission and killed some of those annoying wives. Then i got to watch 3 Allstate commercials where he tryin to get me to buy insurance..ha fatchance, and here in Indianapolis they run the older episodes of 24 on the weekends like twice a week. So he's overexposed in a good way, I'm glad that brothas workin..Now I'm going to work on Ernie Hudson.

I still remember him as the guy from Sparks&Sparks

Personally, I wouldn't quite say 'overexposed'. But between having had a pretty big role as Pres. Palmer in 24, currently being the primary lead in The Unit, and those Allstate commercials, Haysbert is certainly more visible than he's ever previously been in his career.

I definitely remember T. Howard in Sparks. He played the stick in the mud contrasted by Miguel Nunez's player persona. That show wasn't very funny, but UPN kept it going for like 4 seasons? Even had Robin Givens' ugly butt on there...

Oohhhh!!...I know this is a losing battle, but that was the hottest and funniest Robin Givens' ever was in her career -not Head of the Class, not Boomerang - UPN's Sparks. I didn't know Haysbert was on there though, it was kinda :csad: :whatever: :csad: funny if you closed one eye...the 4 episodes that I sat through-Not to mention Robin Gives, stripped down to near nothing on a couple of occasion on that show and that's always a

Miguel Nunez played alright-a tapdance # with a fiddle

I will agree that was Givens most attractive role, however, that's not saying much. IMHO, I never thought she was that fine. I can name a lot of sistahs in Hollywood that I think are fetching, but she's never been one of them.

I just watched cause Uncle Phil was on it.:o

I won't ever miss UPN's horrible comedies. I'm having flashbacks to Homeboyz in Outer Space as I type.:csad:

People know Iron Man, they just don't know that much about him. I think Iron man is far more popular then say Daredevil. When it comes to Romania, nobody knew anything about Daredevil but most people (in the urban area anyway) knew that Iron Man was "the guy in the red metal suit". :)
