The 2012 Iowa Caucuses

Confirmed: People are still controlled by the MSM and the MSM still represents the state and old guard.

Unbelievable how they created the so-called Santorum surge.

Santorum's surge wasn't created by the mainstream media. Santorum being the last anti-Romney candidate that didn't collapse, his endorsements by Bob Vander Platts and other evangelical leaders, and his traditional campaign is what created the surge.

IT SHOULD GO VIRAL! This is the type of crap FOX News pulls...not CNN. They need to be called out on it.

I saw that when it happened and my reaction was:

"That had to be an accident....they wouldn't do something that's so blatantly censoring....would they?"

I won't say one way or the other, but I hope the video does go viral and CNN responds by letting that soldier finish his point in a much watched interview.

Wow...Anderson actually brought up the military support for Ron Paul and mentioned the cut off soldier specifically.

And Anderson Cooper just made fun of it going viral a second ago.

I respect Anderson the most on CNN. He really shouldn't mock the video going viral after CNN was called out on the "Ron Paul walks out of CNN interview" editing not too long ago.

Santorum? Santorum??? What the hell is wrong with my home state?

Yeah, Santorum just lucked out by experiencing his anti-Romney surge during the Iowa caucus.

For argument sake Santorum had a strong ground campaign in Iowa. Chances are he will fickle out fast after tonight. Tonight's performance might win him a few extra votes in South Carolina but by time Florida comes he will be a non-entity again

Paul was/is the anti-Romney candidate. Santorum portrays to be a conservative even though his record shows that he isn't.

They propped up Santorum to block Paul. Santorum had no one showing up at his events, even yesterday. No ground game until the media created surge. You can't go from 4% to 24% in such a short time without MSM saturation. Of course Paul got smeared and received mostly negative coverage.

Also note that Paul is 2nd among evangelical voters.

Paul was never an anti-Romney candidate. His views on foreign policy and his stances on social issues such as gay marriage disqualified him from consideration.

MSM absolutely fueled the Santorum Surge. The guy repeatedly lies on TV and they never call him out for it. They've given him a ton of positive, FREE coverage over the last two weeks.

With 52% of the vote in, Paul is still only at 21.6% in 3rd place. Still could win though...with in striking distance, still very tight 1-3.

The mainstream media never called him out on it because they never took him seriously.

Yep. Murdoch tweeted the guys' name...Santorum is the media's second horse after Romney.

Never took him seriously? They've been showing him over and over for the last two weeks while pimping the "surge."

They gave him attention because he has been rising in the polls. They had to. The same reason why they were forced to pay attention to Ron Paul when he started surging in the polls.

If Santorum surged earlier, he would have been called out and demolished like all the others.

...just typed in "CNN cuts off soldier supporting Ron Paul" into google and a lot of boards and blogs are talking about it.

I find the outrage amusing considering the dirty tricks Fox News pulls on the regular.

79 percent of precints reporting

Romney - 25 percent
Santorum - 25 percent
Paul - 21 percent

The media tells me Iowa is relevant again now that Ron Paul is not leading.

79% Reporting:

Mitt Romney - 25% (492 vote lead)
Rick Santorum - 25%
Ron Paul - 21%
Newt Gingrich - 13%
Rick Perry - 10%
Michelle Bachmann - 5%

I think the outrage over this is because it's CNN. Everyone knows FOX News lies like there's no tomorrow. CNN is better than that.
