It's the first debate since the South Carolina Primary! The debate takes place on January 23rd at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida and will air on NBC at 9pm. Will you be watching?

(In keeping with the tradition of the 2008 election season...all debates, primaries, and caucuses will have their own threads to ensure that the political forum continues to run smoothly.)

Discuss. :yay:

January is definitely jam packed with debates and primaries.

Ron Paul should just endorse Gary Johnson, when GJ wins the Libertarian Party Nomination. Which he is expected to get. GJ can be a force as a 3rd Party, but will need a Ron Paul endorsement for that to happen.

But we probably get Romney or Obama, a war with Iran, even more debt, and a sour economy.

We will not be going to war with Iran.

I'm glad Paul is in the debate.

And I can watch Santorum disrespect Romney while talking by looking bored out of his mind.

The debate is canceled. Fear Factor and Rock Center is on...well, Fear Factor > Debates.

yes williams, press the issue, press it..

WE KNOW your accomplishments, WHY were you asked by your own party to leave

"he said four things were false"

newt youre the one calling out bain capitol

Did Romney just recite Ron Paul's anti-Gingrich ad :funny:

different crowd already noticeable;they didnt go nuts when newt started to get upset, and they both went up with him.

Romney sounds desperate.

That is ridiculous; how did Newt sound ripping on him for bain capitol? Newt defense was horrible btw

"not going to address it, look at the website"?

Nice, im glad he got called out on it.

LOL it never gets old when Santorum says "limited government".

newt defense was horrible

"not going to address it, look at the website"?

Yes it was. But Romney's the guy who said just 4 days ago that he wished he spent more time talking about Obama instead of the Republican candidates, and his entire focus tonight is attacking Gingrich. Hypocrite.

Media is embarrassing. Instead of asking Paul a real question about the policies of this country, they obsess over his electability. ******ed questioning, and it happens in EVERY debate. It's just an attempt by the Establishment to censor his ideas by not asking him questions of substance.

No choice though; how can you hold it against Romney? He HAS to or he will not win the nomination.
