another I would love to see score a Bond film is Michael Giacchino he really captured that 60s era Bond with Incredibles and now FF: First Steps I was listening to the soundtrack to the first Incredibles movie and this track just screams 007 to me anyway

Given the different directions they can go with this and how much fun that First Light game looks, I’m hoping they lean into a younger James Bond just learning the ropes. I absolutely love the brutal, serious, gritty feel of the Craig era but I think now is a great time to take the character in a lighter and more fast-paced direction. I wouldn’t want to see a return to silly stuff like the where the Brosnan and Moore movies ultimately went but I think a series that leans into some influences like the Cruise/McQ Mission Impossible films could feel refreshing, only with an obviously much younger lead going on a globe-spanning thrill ride.
I’m almost positive the absolute last thing this movie will be is that. Not a value judgment on the concept, but Denis and Knight do not indicate that at all.

Haha yeah I know there is probably no chance of that. And that’s okay. Denis is a master of slow-paced action drama and that is what we will get from him.

Brad Bird, considering The Incredibles felt as much a love letter to Bond movies as superheroes, but I’m still annoyed with him for supporting Lasseter, so idk. 🤷‍♀️

Anyway, Villeneuve and Knight is a killer combination for a gritty, serious Bond, so I can’t help but be a little hyped here despite all my Amazon reservations.
I don’t understand how well this is coming together so far. My instincts about what they’d go for have been completely wrong so far. I barely believe this version of the movie will actually happen.

I don’t want to comment on someone else’s looks because everyone is into something different and lots of people have plastic surgery these days but the headline did make me think of this comic

All the money in the world can't fix her face? 👀

He might have the power to make it happen, but he doesn't have the power to control what people say about it. His wife would be well-advised not to do this.

If this is true and Bezos gets his way, I assume we will see Villeneuve and Knight depart over "creative differences".

Who, other than Bezos, would ever want to look at that plastic surgery monstrosity on a screen?

Ignoring how she looks because i dont care...why?
Like, okay so she is his muse...why the hell should that be our problem? She is not mine and i dont want her be in the movie.
I can not name someone else i would want less than her anywhere close to anything that even slightly involves me in any way.

Also, Rich white dudes are not beating the **** allegations it seems.
"I want my wife to be in this movie and play the character that gets banged by Bond...thats cool to me" is a wild mindset.

Maybe he wants to sleep with a Bond girl. I don't know what his thought process is.

I have no issue with plastic surgery generally, but this sort of extreme body dysmorphia and artificialness is neither physically or psychologically healthy and sets a horrible example for young people.

Pretty sure her face BECAME this way after she got together with Bezos. I saw a bit by a stand-up comedian recently about the "Mar-a-Lago look" recently about how every young woman looking for influence or professional advancement through connection with Trump undergoes the same range of stereotypical cosmetic procedures and alterations to catch his eye: spraytan, lip and cheek fillers, facelifts, breast implants, and dying their hair blonde. It's really uncanny how they all undergo the same transformation.

Mar-A-Largo Face. Kimberly Guilfoyle and Matt Gaetz had it happen to them.

Give her a role that’s easily lifted out of the movie, show her cut to Bezos and then give the rest of us the edit that’s actually worth a damn.

It’s not ideal, but it seems as though our entire lives now consist entirely of making sacrifices to please the richest people alive, so what ****ing else is new. :o

I feel like Villeneuve would walk if he was forced to give Bezos's wife a significant part in the movie.

I mean, best case scenario is that it’s a BS story, but these *******s are so emboldened now that I wouldn’t doubt it.

At the very least, I hope Heyman and Pascal are strong-willed enough to push back against this.

If the internet was giving Daniel Craig a hard time about his looks when he was cast, they'd tear this poor guy apart. :o

I've never seen him act before , but look wise , he does have that intensity that Craig and Dalton had , and kinda reminds me look wise of Sean Bean , who tried out for the part before being cast as the villain in Goldeneye.

Wasn't the UK known for bullying Ginger people?

It tracks very well with what these jerks have been doing since getting divorced. It is extremely believable.

They hired a director, but isn't that director still working on other stuff at the moment? The writer they hired... didn't they just hire him?

How are they already screen testing actors?

Either this is going to be the most rushed James Bond movie in history, or this rumor is just like all the other screen testing/actor rumors: A bunch of bull****.
