It's only up to 18% of Rotten Tomatoes, so even if it did qualify, it probably wouldn't have been considered for any important categories at The Oscars.
Angel Studios will never get nominated at the Oscars. I don’t even think Sound of Freedom was nominated (though I could be wrong). They’re a hard right-wing religious group in the worst why who are nothing but scammers and attention ****es. And that 98% for Regan is probably the right-wingers review-bombing the movie just because of the topic.

Already looking forward to the muzak Diane Warren is going to unleash on our ears next year. She must be pissed, I hope she channels that into the music.

I must say...

I really enjoyed this year's Oscars in a way that I hadn't done in a lot of years .

Between Conan presenting, many deserving winners, and overall of a perceived and honest love for movies... I hope that this will be the first of many great future Oscar nights. It all felt way less disingenuous than it has for many, many years.

Even the little fails felt like a healthy part of a varied Academy Awards show.

And one important thing -- virtually no political talk or preaching. It was great.

Is it weird that I'm getting a feeling Mikey Madison's career is going to hit a snag yet Demi Moore is going to land more roles?

I also got 18-5 right... which is funny because I got all the shorts wrong and I coin flipped the two best leading performances.
All tied up in the Pick'ems. And no, I don't count the tiebreaker first speech length guess even though I Price Is Right'ed you.

(But seriously Kane? Only 60 seconds? You knew it was gonna be Culkin. :o)

Oh we KNOW why she didn't end up presenting that one. :o

Other than than the oblique Russian oligarch reference there was no mention of, Trump.
There's no need to repeat or namedrop something/someone over and over to make a joke or jab land.

It said what it had to, cut like a knife and you still remember it specifically today. Conan's a consummate pro.

P.S.: And the short doc winner speech speaks for itself

Well to be fair, I knew it was the Culkin Award when I posted that category schedule list right before the show started and that I put 60 seconds as a placeholder when I first did my pickems a month ago and forgot to go back and change it.
