I'm ready for a new Alfred though. Alan Rickman YO.
I'd rather have an Alfred that is more similar in appearance to comics/animated Alfred. Plus Michael Caine just seemed to be playing himself
fair enough.
now that I think about it though, snape as alfred would be VERY interesting to watch...![]()
now we're talkin!
all his hair needs to be whiter though.
Not necessarily, Alfred is most commonly seen with balding black hair
Except Keith Richards.Honestly, basically any old British dude that's a good actor would be fine as Alfred.
Where'd you leave your sense of humor, Mr. Grumpy Pants? No, Keith Richards is an overrated musician and an overrated cameo actor. I couldn't stand him in Pirates and i don't see Alfred in him.
Peter Cushing (with 'tache) would have been Alfred personified.

I kinda wish Peter Capaldi wasn't cast as The Doctor because I could see him as Alfred. Just imagine how much he would berate Bruce.![]()
Bruce took in Dick somewhere between 20 and around 25 at the latest. If Dick was around 8 to 10, this means an age disparity of 10 to 17 years. We're all OK with this, right? If Bruce is 40 in the movie and Alan Rickman is playing an Alfred that's the same age as him (which 67 right now), that'd be an age disparity of around 27 years. In that case, Alfred would have been about 35 years old when he took in the 8 year old Bruce. I think that's totally fine. Why not?I think the respective ages of Affleck and Rickman may stop the latter from getting the role. An older Wayne would surely indicate an older Alfred?
