Oh, snap.

Ray Winstone. LOL.

You laugh, but that's interesting...he is British, but not your typical Alfred for sure. He's big in stature and a bit intimidating, which would play well into a ex-special forces type character. I mean I'm still rooting for Dalton, but this is intriguing.

They shouldn't be scared of the Wizard of Oz, neither. :o

I can imagine something like this is if Winstone was looking after young Bruce
"There, there, Master Bruce. Your parents are dead, I know....so shut your ****ing mouth or I'll break your little neck" :hehe:

:funny:

''Get your f*****g arse out there and catch that f*****g c**t!''

Christian Bale would've made a whole lot more sense growing up with that sort of father figure :D

Exactly he doesn't look like the guy who will give you cookies.
That would be the point. I think I've had more than my fair share of the "old and kind" Alfred of yesteryear. I'm not advocating a total radical badass or anything, but someone more world-weary and fitting for the man that literally raised Batman.

Call it heresy, but I wouldn't even blink if they excised the butler role entirely. I myself was never fond of it.

Haha that would be a sight. :woot:

"I am the ****ing knight!"

"Bruce, I'm sure you got a to-do list that's longer than a ****ing Leonard Cohen song!!"

"Alfred's Law: If some c**t can **** something up, that c**t will pick the worst possible time to ****ing **** it up cause that c**t's a c**t!"

Personal assistant is the new catch-phrase for someone in his position, but you could have him be just a usually informal valet and chauffeur. I wouldn't want an Alfred who was entirely like the Earth One mercenary-only, though; a still somewhat trim and dignified Bond like Bronson, Dalton or Connery, where his style is complimented by being very obviously badass.

Really, you could have someone just dress Alfred in less formal wear and have him come off entirely different.

On a side note. Ray Winstone and Diane Lane starred together in a movie called 'Ladies and Gentlemen, the Fabulous Stains', from 1982.

You guys may laugh, but with a bit of darker hair, acting training and some scruff, he'd be the most intense Alfred to date.

(DISCLAIMER: I'm not being serious)

''Master Wayne, I prepared a little supper....d**kface!''
