The All Things Flash Thread. - Part 2

Burton hasn’t made a good movie in 2 decades, but sure, what could go wrong. :oldrazz:

Amy Adams' humongous eyes beg to differ. :o

All that fanfare for a movie that audiences like even less than Black Adam. Unreal.
It’s crazy. Didn’t they say the test screenings were through the roof and were the highest since TDK? Guess it goes to show you that test screenings results aren’t always a reliable predictor of how a movie will ultimately be received.

I'm sure somebody said that, but I vividly recall ViewerAnon saying it was testing "pretty solid" or something to that effect, and that's the best I've been expecting of it ever since. A little surprised it's not even solid at all though lol.

I hazard to guess those test audiences also thought the VFX would look better once it was finished, but alas, they were wrong. :hehe:

Wow!! A B cinemascore?!! I’m not gonna lie despite lukewarm reactions most of us fans have towards this I thought for sure this was gonna land much better with general audiences as a fun feel good popcorn movie but DAMN people are not liking this thing. If i had to venture a guess people probably find this movie way too silly and cartoony and turned off by the horrible VFX.

This is an absolute utter disaster. People are going to be losing their jobs come monday at Burbank. Bet on it. And best believe theres going to be TONS of juicy behind the scenes drama leaking in the coming weeks about the making of this movie.

I'll be honest I feel like I need educating here because bar the date I can't see the issues with these cameos. I can buy action figures, comic books or posters with their likenesses. I can buy the George Reeves show decades after his death.

I've been telling y'all for months that these trailers had minimal GA appeal, and it turns out this movie was totally reflected in those trailers. Going multiverse in a character's first outing is a turnoff. Ezra is a turnoff. The VFX are a turnoff. And Michael Keaton ain't the draw to the GA that people kept insisting he was, either. I mean, even I thought he'd be a bigger draw than this, but still. There's no Keaton solo coming because that honestly wouldn't do much better than this.
