There’s really zero indication they intend to recast Ezra. They doubled down on them with this film. Literally. There are two Ezra’s.

That’s the worst of it, wasting a rogues gallery as deep as Spider-Man and Batman and just making Reverse Flash a bad version of Barry played by the same guy. I guess if ppl really don’t like Ezra then make him the villain lol. But still, take Skarsgård and turn Pennywise into Gorilla Grodd, Mirror Master or Captain Cold. That’s what I would expect with Muschietti directing.
Jay Garrick should be the role that Keaton is playing. Older Flash from another universe. Hell, have Keaton play him. But screw Flash. Batman ‘89 nostalgia sells tickets, not some guy in a goofy helmet with wings.

I enjoyed Miller's performance as a performance, but it wasn't Barry Allen. I'm not campaigning for him to be replaced, but if he were to be I certainly wouldn't cry about it. And I agree, this is the perfect opportunity to do it, if WB/DC so wishes.

I'm just spitballing ideas... but I sure think it would be an awesome end to the movie or post credit scene... I mean, that would get me stoked for a new set of flash movies if in the mirror we saw one of..

But its just WB/DC doing what WB/DC do best. Go against the grain. Fail. And wonder why they are failing. Sorry WB, you arent that cool.

Baffles me they are even still trying to do the shared universe with DC now. It’s obviously been an abject failure, and a far better strategy would be the one they are employing with The Batman. WB seem stuck in this never ending desperation to ‘be like Marvel’. It’s incredibly sad, and really has hamstrung DC on film for years and years now.
