I agree with folks who doubt the armor will happen here, cause this is set in a movie series when we finally get an out of armor Batman on film.
There is no reason for a character who never wore armor (unless you count that Fables JLA story with armored knight Wally) to wear one in his first solo movie.
Oh, the fake DS has been copying me? Why am I not surprised? :hehe:
Oh jalapeno, more of the real/fake DS routine.
We need a member named DuckSoup, just to add one more head to the DS crowd.

Actually, though more body fitting costume makes more sense for a runner the Flash is, I can imagine them wanting to bring some diversity in the costume department, hence avoid going for the typical skintight costume, leaving only Batman and Superman to have variations of such. And they even went to the length of trying to differentiate Batman's and Superman's costumes as much as possible, by having Batman wearing an obvious underarmor and Superman's being a skintight alien chainmail-like bodysuit.

Aquaman and Wonder Woman are wearing armors that are reminiscent of ancient ones (as they probably are ancient), Green Lantern will most probably have some kind of uniform look, being space cop and all and Cyborg is.... well, cyborg, so I guess they wanted to give the Flash more unique look as opposed to skintight costume that would fall closer to either of two sides - Superman's skintight material or Batman's padded one.

And as long as they make it pretty streamlined, I've no problem with the idea of more armored Flash.

It will probably be as form fitting as Superman's suit, with possibly a better design for joint movements.
I'm glad his suit won't look like cheap cellophane.

From the description we've got, I imagine it being form-fitting with some padding on joints and maybe in front, but unlike the batsuit, those would be on the suit, on outer side, not underneath it. They might even be some ceramic plates, similarly to "Injustice" and "DC Universe Online" games look:

I don't think he'll be much more "armored" than this. And with this, I am fine.

Reminds me of the Nolan batsuit.. which is not a bad thing.. I think flash's suit shouldn't be similar to Bats or Supes. Plus nolans suit would work very well as a flash suit, make it red, similar in design and the cowl is perfect for flash than it is for batman.

I am curious as to how he gets the suit, does he make it himself or does he get it from other people like Nolan's bats and the tv show flash

could not agree more.. They could do something similar to the amazing spiderman suit or nolans dark knight suit, since both are slim and better for mobility. It probably be a armored style suit as some sort of explanation to how the suit does not burn at extreme speeds.

I think they should differentiate the logo from being in the center.. because well apparantely both bats and supes hav it.. I think he should incorporate the center logo after meeting the justice league and before that he should just some sort lightning bolt or something..
the_flash__jay_garrick__earth_2_by_shinji_hirako95-d5nqfgl.jpg

like something like jay garricks new 52 suit- like the suit should initially be completely red with a extended yellow lightning bolt and after he joins the league he has the classic suit...

it honestly doesn't make sense in this realistic cinematic universe as to how they have similar suits before meeting... (similar in the sense that they all have centered logos ex. GL, BATS, SUPES, FLASH)

Some Flashy goodness to tide us over until we get a look at Ezra's Barry.

I really can't wait to see this costume. Wilkinson has done the best costumes in the genre tbh

And I grew to love the TV show flash suit, but I can admit that there is room for improvement. I'm hoping we basically get the classic Flash suit for the movies.

The classic design is just so perfect, no real changes are necessary. Done with the right materials, it'd look incredible

Miller reportedly saying he wears something "Post Apocalyptic " in BVS. Curious...

That bit is intriguing to me as well. The idea of a "Post Apocalyptic" Flash suits sounds visually cool also.

He's probably just high again (or still)

Maybe post-apocalyptic is to him what alley is to Tom Hardy :p

What you call hell, Rambo calls home.

lol is that true? I've been slacking on my Flash news

I've edited the list; I'll need to pick a new Iris that matches up with Ezra a bit better.

post apokolyptic?!?!

Your guess is as good as mine.

That said... [BLACKOUT]My guess is that Flash appears in a part of BvS that is a peek into an Alt-Future where a "Superman" has taken control of the world and has warred against the DC heroes for a few years. That is what I think the Desert Storm Batman and the Super Trooper imagery is about in the BvS trailer and with Miller stating he wears something "Post Apocalyptic" in the film I suspect my theory is on to something.[/BLACKOUT]

Imagine some of the audience reaction to the movie after watching the series of Flash and nothing else about him.
"White Iris? I thought she was black, they go PC now in reverse?
:argh:"

I've always loved the Flash. The concept of a speedster in general is amazing to me. In Smallville when Clark used his superspeed, or when he met Flash. Or in the current Flash show. Even in the several animations he's appeared in, it's all so cool. have a gameboy game for the flash where he fights villains like Braniac, Grodd, Killer Frost, and Reverse Flash. I wouldn't at all have a problem if one of those where the villains. There's a large rogues gallery for Flash to battle. Personally I'd like to see someone like Mr. Freeze(I just like the concept of Ice countering his speed because no actual friction for him to run), or Gorilla Grodd. Weather Wizard is also another good choice in my opinion.

Then again this movie comes out 2015, they could easily re-use Zoom/Reverse Flash or one of th villains from the series by then.

The sad thing about this post is that there will probably be a good amount of people on Tumblr raging on about that s***.

Assuming, of course, that film Iris is white.

So who changed Iris' race first, "The Flash" TV show or New 52?
