40 seconds of footage that you said you think electro is gonna be a villain like riddler from batman forever. And you compared him to mr freeze right away. All of 40 seconds so yeah you have your opinion, and others have theirs.

Footage got me even more pumped this was a nice surprise tonight! He looks and sounds badass.

^ Good point. If any villain is similar to The Riddler, it's Curt Connors/The Lizard.

To me it seems like he has been transformed by whatever it is that he's standing in, rather than an accident involving eels. However this is just guessing off a 40 second clip, so maybe he was transformed by eels (as lame as that sounds to me). FWIW, I am a fan of Electro so far, the look and the voice are awesome in my opinion.

I liked the first film. I'm a big fan of Marc Webb, Andrew Garfield, and pretty much everyone involved, but something about this film feels off. I don't know if Electro, especially Jaime Foxx as Electro, was the right choice for the second films villain. This teaser isn't doing much to help me think otherwise. I just don't know yet. Also, I really want to see what Paul Giamatti will look like as Rhino(the finished version. I've seen those set pics) I'm hoping it's not too formulaic. I really hope it all works out, but I'm a long way from being sold on this film. Here's hoping!




But I have to say....I'm not really liking what I'm seeing so far.

Haha, I'm sitting on massive amounts of hype, I assure you. I just don't get to post very often because I'm kept fairly busy. Although, I'd much rather be here hyping among my fellow Spidey lovers.

I actually think this will be in the movie though, it seems kinda integral. that doorman scene was definitely something that could be edited out and wouldn't change the movie.

could be..OR, there was different coverage of it specifically for a promo shot...either way, I agree with you about it being cool, looking forward to a trailer with a bit more bite to it
