Yup. That's how I was picturing her death too. Can you imagine how the audience would react? Dead silence in the theater.

My two cents :

The Batman voice ripoff did nothing for me, and this promo was just awful. Foxx is a great actor and could have done much better. It's a shame that this movie is facing a huge uphill battle, as I really did like the first TASM (not as much as Raimi's SM/SM2), but I liked it. But with every turn, set pic, video I see, I just don't care about this at all. Spidey looks great though.

Oh here we go, so now every deep voice is a batman rip off. And we haven't even seen a trailer showing more of the film. And you're calling it an "uphill battle". Come on man.

Since we've got more then one villain, they can show off Electro since he's the main one (as far as we know) & save Rhino for later. Especially since he's going to be a mostly-CG behemoth. The EW issue said Giamatti isn't in the movie much, but will be awesome whenever he is.

Thanks Mayo for saying exactly how I feel.

I think there's gravity in Electro's delivery, the voice sounds ominous but not forced the way Bale's Batman always sounded to me. Bale was a great Batman, but the voice was the biggest turnoff about his portrayal to me.

Granted I've only seen a snippet of Foxx's Electro performance, but as you said, I like his voice characterization far better than Bale's Batman.

He's a guy who's been a loser for his entire life, and he's now getting his first taste of real power. I'd expect him to enjoy it, so his voice works for me.

That's funny considering everyone feared the first film would be too dark and gritty.
