I'm not worried about the Mr. Freeze trash talk.

The reboot will always be divisive.

Ultimately the general audience didn't think the Lizard looked like a goomba from the Super Mario Bros movie and I doubt they'll think of Batman and Robin once Foxx goes around roasting people with impressive visual effects.

I hate that Electro has pinkish electricity running through his body,they should of made it blue.

But, it did have, didn't it? The bathroom trap in Saw had a shock when either Gordon or Adam were breaking the rules. In Saw IV, Hoffman would have "died" electrocuted if the detective jumped out of the ice block. Also, in Saw V there's a trap where survivors need to connect 5 different batteries into a bathtub (using themselves as electric bridge).

So, yeah, they used electric traps. As you said, they weren't the most brutal ones.

I've seen all of the movies, how did I not remember those? I guess the brutal ones are also the more memorable ones

My two cents :

The Batman voice ripoff did nothing for me, and this promo was just awful. Foxx is a great actor and could have done much better. It's a shame that this movie is facing a huge uphill battle, as I really did like the first TASM (not as much as Raimi's SM/SM2), but I liked it.

Ever think the reason it's facing such an uphill battle is due to people who think like you? Deep voice, he's copying Bale. Ripoff.

Didn't care for any of them after that

Anyway talking about Electro
I found it hard to understand him in that footage and missed a couple of lines.
But then I am Indian and have problems with accents now and then..

Because it fulfills the one objective it has,to be scary.That footage was scary.And that's the only part that felt scary in all of Spider-man movies so far(except maybe the Doc-Ock Hospital scene in SM2)

Definitely but I am staying here for the most part cause I don't see true fans but only here, this is why I love the hype cause people are down to earth and mostly respectful and has a brain unlike the GA and TASM haters

Yeah I don't post anywhere else unless it's hip hop boards and that's a rarity, so I guess luckily, I know not of what you speak. But I wouldn't be so hard on a general audience, people like what they like. If it connects with them in some way, they'll be down. There are plenty of flicks I see that I would be considered a general audience member for, but I like what I like

This. I mean, I'll be honest: ASM definitely had some issues, but none that, objectively speaking, ruined the movie.

And most who say differently are just being petty, or just too nitpicky for their own good.

I understand the complaints of some, particularly those who just felt it wasn't different enough from SM1 (even Webb admitted that about the origin), but most just come off as hating to hate, and nitpicking it to death to make themselves right, and find more reason to hate it.

You seem to think there are people who just hate TASM for hate's sake. Granted that might be true but have you ever considered that it's not a great movie by all means and that there are people who didn't enjoy it because it was a flawed movie?????

According to you there are three types of people who hate TASM:
1)The Raimi fanboys
2)People who hate it because it's a reboot
3) The GA
