Misters Lee and Ditko (and basically every other Spider-Man writer who wrote him during his high school years) would like to have a word with you.Peter Parker is not a nerd/geek.
Peter Parker is an intelligent "outsider", he is socially awkward. He knows a great deal about science.
I think Peter will be 19 in this one.
My God you people whine a lot.
Change happens in all sequels, stop nitpicking on every single thing, Jesus it's MOVIE. Everything has already been decided, all you people ever do is sike yourselves out or never keep positive attitudes, or think that what YOU want matters most. Guess what? This isn't your movie, it's the director's movie. Oh WOW he has a car! And he's a senior, it doesn't have to add ANYTHING to the character, but it doesn't seem to create a situation which tightens the relationship between Peter and MJ, so it isn't useless. Damn you people sound like cry babies, just be happy you're getting a movie, and if worse comes to worse and it turns out bad, then so what? There'll be another one, and another one, and another one, and another one and so on and so forth. People on this forum, no
the people on the Internet, are so freaking jaded. This is a general statement.
Same here, I'm just so happy to see all these new pics & clips after such a long wait!! It's just a little silly and futile to freak out over little things w/o having seen the final product yet. Can't wait till the first trailer comes out, can you imagine? This place will implode!!![]()
Because that's who she is.
Like the people claiming Peter's nerdiness is a big part of his character, yet it was all but done away with in TASM.
The thing is they just looked like a typical middle class family. You had that basement flood which was nice Parker luck but that was about it. I just hope they struggle more in this one. It gives more of Aunt May to do, and it adds a different dynamic now that she knows Peter's Spider-Man.
You're kidding right? People still complain that he looks like a hipster/emo/whatever.
So Pete doesn't look like a stereotypical nerd/geek. Why then must MJ look like a stereotypical "hot girl"/ supermodel?
Because Peter never looked like the stereotypical nerd to begin with at any point in the comics while MJ always looked like a supermodel. Even back in the 1960's, Peter still didn't look like the stereotypical nerd other than the glasses and haircut (and he never wore the glasses half the time either).

But according to your response from a few posts ago, those people are just whiny fanboys that will never be happy with anything so they should be dismissed.

When did she not?MJ didn't always look like a supermodel. Justin saying.
When did she not?
When did she not?
hmmm.... still, gotta admit she's super hot in Ultimate. granted she's a 2D drawing. But I'd fap to that.
Another new image. Amazing how they can make Garfield look like a complete shmuck in the first film and hot as hell (no homo) in the second film lol.

I'm pretty sure I recall MJ showing up very scantily clad and hot to a party (possibly in issue #5? I know it was within the first 40 issues or so), and all the guys took notice. Flash Thompson even hit on her.I guess no one in this thread has read Ultimate Spider-Man...MJ is NOT a supermodel in that.
