Why? What difference does it make? Every summer movie must take place in the summer???
The entire second half of the original Spider-Man took place during Thanksgiving. omg terrible movie.

^This!
Whenever there's a movie people like, it seems they complain about the most stupid things. Just to complain about EVERYTHING, you know.
I honestly think IM3 is very, very underrated. I like that film alot and will probably buy it on blu-ray soon.
???
Most of the pics we've seen have been Peter/Gwen/MJ in fall/winter clothing. Also, there were those pics of the charred footsteps (presumably Dillons) in the snow, as well as Spidey dressed in a hat & scarf...
The only scene that seems to take place in the spring/summer is the graduation scene, which will be early on in the film.
Mark Friedberg (Prod. Designer)
I live a month ahead of these guys [motions to the crew]. I have to be ready for them. And because these are complicated, big sets, it takes time to make them. So theres a few big sets left to go, and there are degrees of finished, not finished, should be finished, wish they were finished, and please finish. [Laughs] But I think we have two more very big sets to go. On the weekends we go on the streets, basically, because you cant close streets in the week.
The story is mostly set in spring and summer, so we were on stage a lot through the winter, but now were in the nice weather, were outdoors on the weekends. Then there are two more stage parts of this to go. About three weeks.
Yeah dude. I agree. Bunch of winter clothing but maybe it's still cold during summer? Or there are winter moments here and there? Idk but here you go.

-Are there any difficult scenes left that you havent shot yet?
I'd love to see Spider-Man in snow. TSSM did a good job with it, Peter buying thermal clothing etc.
Maybe that's why he changes his costume, for warmth? Spandex can't be that great in the winter...

Huh? It's still "spandex"...
Do you mean when he's wearing the cap and scarf?
I completely agree. I've always wanted to see Spidey swinging through the snow. TSSM did do a great job. Thermal clothes, Peter burning is tongue on hot chocolate haha. Good stuff!
So would we say that TASM was during the fall? And TASM2 is spring? So maybe TASM3 = summer/fall (Empire State) and TASM4 = winter

Haha really? Yeah I can barely tell if it was spring or autumn. I mean eh..they have similarities in the day. But I haven't seen that movie in a while so..Interesting if true. I do remember on the SM2 commentary, Avi Arad insisting several times that the movie takes place in autumn (?). Not that it makes a difference, but most of the on location shoots were done in the spring (and you can tell). Makes me question what these guys say and what the actual end product shows...
I admit seeing Spidey in the snow for the first time on film really sounds awesome, I hope it happens.
Christmas or Summer?
It's summer. According to the filmmakers.
With snow for a laugh?
