Why? What difference does it make? Every summer movie must take place in the summer???

The entire second half of the original Spider-Man took place during Thanksgiving. omg terrible movie.

^This!

Whenever there's a movie people like, it seems they complain about the most stupid things. Just to complain about EVERYTHING, you know.

I honestly think IM3 is very, very underrated. I like that film alot and will probably buy it on blu-ray soon.

I didn't like IM3 but I thought that was a ridiculous complaint. I've seen it with IM3 and I don't want that to happen with TASM2. I think a winter Spidey movie sounds great personally.

First time I heard a reviewer complain about it

???

Most of the pics we've seen have been Peter/Gwen/MJ in fall/winter clothing. Also, there were those pics of the charred footsteps (presumably Dillons) in the snow, as well as Spidey dressed in a hat & scarf...

The only scene that seems to take place in the spring/summer is the graduation scene, which will be early on in the film.

Yeah dude. I agree. Bunch of winter clothing but maybe it's still cold during summer? Or there are winter moments here and there? Idk but here you go.

-Are there any difficult scenes left that you haven’t shot yet?

Mark Friedberg (Prod. Designer)
I live a month ahead of these guys [motions to the crew]. I have to be ready for them. And because these are complicated, big sets, it takes time to make them. So there’s a few big sets left to go, and there are degrees of finished, not finished, should be finished, wish they were finished, and please finish. [Laughs] But I think we have two more very big sets to go. On the weekends we go on the streets, basically, because you can’t close streets in the week.

The story is mostly set in spring and summer, so we were on stage a lot through the winter, but now we’re in the nice weather, we’re outdoors on the weekends. Then there are two more stage parts of this to go. About three weeks.

Interesting if true. I do remember on the SM2 commentary, Avi Arad insisting several times that the movie takes place in autumn (?). Not that it makes a difference, but most of the on location shoots were done in the spring (and you can tell). Makes me question what these guys say and what the actual end product shows...

I'd love to see Spider-Man in snow. TSSM did a good job with it, Peter buying thermal clothing etc.

Maybe that's why he changes his costume, for warmth? Spandex can't be that great in the winter...

"Oh my god Peter and Gwen mistletoe kiss <3"

I completely agree. I've always wanted to see Spidey swinging through the snow. TSSM did do a great job. Thermal clothes, Peter burning is tongue on hot chocolate haha. Good stuff!

So would we say that TASM was during the fall? And TASM2 is spring? So maybe TASM3 = summer/fall (Empire State) and TASM4 = winter

Huh? It's still "spandex"...

Do you mean when he's wearing the cap and scarf?

The one in TASM looked more rubber-y I guess. This one just looks warmer, more of a cloth than a spandex look.

The wanted poster for Ben's killer is dated as "March 2012", so we can suppose it's Spring-ish(?)

I'd enjoy seeing the winter season as well. It'd be a change of pace from the perfectly indeterminate seasons we usually see. It adds a bit more personality to the movie as well.

Electro's evil plan is to turn off all the Christmas lights in New York.

He messed up Times Square and I loved every low-qulity second of it. Bootlegs for the win.

I admit seeing Spidey in the snow for the first time on film really sounds awesome, I hope it happens.

I'd lol if we get a sex scene in this film. that would be revolutionary ahaha.

Haha really? Yeah I can barely tell if it was spring or autumn. I mean eh..they have similarities in the day. But I haven't seen that movie in a while so..

@JOE @DaRk
I know we get at least one snow scene. It's in the leaked footage. Peter visiting the grave or something. And it's snowing. Also, I forget who but Avi or Marc said something about they had the first time shooting a Spidey movie in the snow. That may be the scene they're referring to. I kinda doubt we'll get Spidey in the snow, but more so Peter.

Can't exactly rule out Summer since the movie will portray their graduation. Does it snow in New York during the Spring?
