Same here, thats why I wanted a reboot so bad after Sm3.

When I heard about the reboot, I was still extremely hyped for Spider-Man 4. The news was crushing. But I came around to the idea after a certain amount of time.

I have a vague memory of those, but from what I read about them said they were based off the animated series. Even all the voice acting done for the game is from the animated series

I want to see carnage along with Venom so bad, I think t would help blow Spider-man back to his former fame level like Venom and Carnage did for Spidey in the 90s

incorrect. the PS1/'N64 "Spider-Man Game" and the PS1 "Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro" were all basically based on the 90s fox toon (no unlimited) mixed with some comic stuff as well. Unlimited was a bizarre future world which those games were not based in what so ever. many of the series voices returned even though it wasn't an "exact" tv show tie in.

similarly, the Spider-Man ride at Universal in design is very similar animation style and design style to the 90s toon

I don't watch cartoons but I really liked the 90's animated series.

I believe that was my first intro to Spidey.

Theres just so many things that could be done with him in a movie.His costume is fantastic btw. I've said this on another post, but Mysterio could be the one Norman hired to kill Peter's Parents and to make it look like a plane crash in TASM.

Yeah man. I'm now convinced yet can use Mysterio in the Webbiverse. Maybe Oscorp has discovered tech of holograms and illusions and they can somehow incorporate that with Mysterio. I can see them doing something very different and cool.

Damn...why did Spectacular Spiderman get canceled? That was an awesome show. One of my faves ever. USM isn't really that good.

I agree. I bought all on Amazon. Am dissapointed it had to end.

Thats the same series that got me into Spider-man. I have so many memories of that show from my childhood. I never would of picked up a comic book without that show. The games are really good for it to, I owned them on ps1.

I thought TASM had a great use of colors on the costume. I think they nailed the blue.

Or that's just because they filmed when it was cold outside? That shot of the tree is also not an official shot so there could be no indication of the season. There was no snow on any of the sets so I doubt it.

Ock is the only great/good villain in the franchise so far IMO.

Dafoe was better than most of the CBM villains out there

The costume ruined the Goblin. Had he been wearing something closer to the comics he would have been a good villain.

Do have to remember that a teaser is a teaser, and we haven't even got that yet, so there won't be alot of stuff thrown in till the official trailer

since they finished filming ages ago and we havent got the teaser yet we may have a few effects finished in the teaser for some interesting quick action pieces

The fact that we haven't gotten anything yet either means we're getting something big in the near future... Or they're just not pushing their marketing department yet.
