Maybe promotional art for NYCC?

We got the first trailer for ASM in August of 2011.

Then again it hardly had any action scenes or Spider-man shots.

Wonder what a Micheal Bay Spider-Man would be like? My guess,

Spider-Man 3 with no heart

Nah.

It hasn't popped up here.

http://www.albertafilmratings.ca/recentclasstrailers.aspx

When it does, we'll all know.

However, don't fret. NYCC is this week. And we can definitely expect some news out of there.

Not only is Beenox announcing the next Spidey game (more then likely ASM2) this Saturday, but Sony Pictures is holding a panel that day as well. So its possible that the trailer will be shown there.
Sony Pictures isn't holding a panel at NYCC.

Well apparently its separate panels for Carrie and another film, rather than one Sony Panel, but neither are listed in the NYCC schedule.

Still loving this Harry Osborn aesthetic.

A Michael Bay one would be pretty cool as long it was like The Rock or Transformers 1 in quality.

I'm being super cereal, people.

This movie was left on too much of a cliffhanger to be taking so long to show anything! Seriously, Marc Webb left it like a TV show ending with Peter saying 'But those (promises) are the best kind.' Rejecting any and all responsibility he may have learnt from the first movie. It's like Smallville where it was a long gradual proccess because it was a TV show, so you tune in next week to see more and more peices coming together. In a movie you just don't get that luxury and you have to see something good by the end. It's the same as doing a Superman movie where Clark doesn't even become Superman by the end! You have to give you audience something to chew on for the next two years to keep them satisfied before the next installment. They really did not deliver on the first movie.

I do not get the parents thing. You learnt enough for movie one. People thought that Richard Parker was going to experiment on Peter, that was simply not the case. His Dad created the cross-spices and his it so Oscorp could not use it for evil. They went after him and killed him.

The hell? That's as direct as it gets.

Uh oh. Looks like you just made a totally valid criticism of the Amazing Spider-Man in this forum...prepare to be replied to with disdain and a general sense of confusion.

Prepare for a flame war more like.

I predict the next few posts will include the following:
Tobey Maguire <3
TASM beat SM1
Rami did the same thing
Reboots Christ sake uhhhh!
Batman Begins, Nolan, Batman,
That's how a teenager acts!

If people disagree in a normal and calm fashion, is that okay? Shall I post how I think you will reply? Is it a fun game?

Vid needs his daily dose of negative or he gets anxious

I really like the movie, but WD is right^^'

In general it's kinda funny how frustrating everything Spider-Man related has become...
- SpOck in Comics
- After "500 Days of Waiting" Hot Toys is still refusing to release "The Delaying Spider-Man"
- Bugle tumblr page fallen to sleep after just 2 posts in July
- No "real" movie related news in weeks beside these more and more annoying S6 stuff and "Yeah yeah yeah we're working on movie 3 so we can deliver another annoying cliffhanger at the end of movie 2"

I'd just want everything to go on. Would someone push the PLAY-Button on the Spider-Events please ^^'?

I can also agree on that but i hope TASM 3 will pay off, as the writters said the movie will ansewer questions from TASM , i keep thinking that TASM as the first part of a story sets up characters and events for the future kinda like the harry potter movies did or any book based story
Raimi trilogy was formed by three different stories With the main theme of the strugles of beeing a superhero that's why imho spider-man 1 feels more like a complete film
Then TASM franchise are three different parts of a story and we have only seen 1/3 of that main story and i bet that even if they ansewer some questions they will make more , im surpised we havn't seen any real plot synopsis.

I really hope they don't LOST-tify the movies and will answer at least some questions and throw just a few new on us instead :D

I really don't have a problem if there are some open ends. Even the first Spider-Man had at least 1,5 with the Harry and MJ stuff.

But if there is too much of it it's just like: We forgot to show you the half of the movie. But at least they were filmed back to back so we will make you pay two tickets to see the end next year. (Like Warner did with the last Potter book :D The other movies had at least some kind of ending.)

I have no issue with the ending because I know they will be answered at some point maybe

What if TASM 3 is directed by shyamalan then after peter was bitten he just died of the radiation and all his aventures were just a dream of aunt may

I would be far more worried about his pacing and strange shots :D

Some news...

"AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 reshoots in New York this Saturday and Sunday. Be on the lookout. I'll have more info in the next few days."

You mean like trying to film an badly choreographed action scene in one continuous shot, so that the audience can see just how bad it is. He'd also get the races mixed up.
