I don't even know why Peter's dad took her, it didn't seem like she was important or smart enough to understand his work.
That is a good question. Also if they are worried about Peter, why did they leave Peter? Couldn't Norman just use him to draw them out? And the message put Peter in even greater danger. :funny:

Peter is the kind put in a bad predicament but still finds a way to be upbeat and a good person. Peter here was getting a bit jerky, while moping, and moping and moping.
I think he stays upbeat as Spider-Man, but he's allowed to be sad as Peter. He was still a good person. That's always how I saw it anyways. Peter is human. He's not just going to pretend to be happy all the time, especially not at 18 years old. He's still a kid. Most teenagers mope all the time anyways and they have FAR less to deal with than he does.:oldrazz:
That's one thing I miss, his suit getting torn up. In ASM is got a bit slashed and grazed but nothing to the extent of the dame it too in the OT.

The suit in this looks almost pristine the whole time :csad:

True. It got pretty beat up in the Electro fight didn't it? I thought I remembered seeing burns and stuff on it. I know I saw it ripped in one place, but yeah not nearly as bad as in the final battle of SM1. It was literally ripped to shreds in that one.

Except the message was in some secret place which had those key things only Peter had.

Nothing beats that unnecessary standing front flip by Dafoe Goblin in the final fight. Love it lol.

No real order outside of the top 3,
The Incredibles
TDK
Batman Begins
TWS
MOS
The Avengers
First Class
Iron Man
Thor
TFA
TDKR
Hellboy
Hellboy 2
Spider-Man 2
The Wolverine

:lmao:

Oh, and I liked the cuddling better. :cwink:

OHHH! Top 10's!! I want to play! :cwink:
(Top 10 order changes on almost a weekly basis)

ASM2
TDK
SM2
X:FC
IM
Superman: The Movie
X2
Superman 2
Blade 2
Dredd

I will say that the reason why these movies are in my top 10 is rewatch value, in that regardless of how my times I watch these movies my initial reaction remains pretty much the same. Where as with movies like WS and TDKR where I thought the movie was the best thing since sliced bread on first viewing my second viewing whilst still enjoyable wasn't as enthusiastic.

That was so ridiculous.:funny:

I just liked seeing Peter getting mad and beating the crap out of him. Spidey doesn't have a defining bad A moment in film and that's the closest he ever came to that in the Raimi trilogy.

Although the Spider Sense scene in Times Square may have given Peter his bad A moment..Or at least a "WHOAAAAAA" moment.

That woman that worked for Harry is suppose to be Felicia hardy?

For me the Times Square sequence usurped the train fight in SM2 as my favorite ever superhero action sequence. Pure comic book put on the big screen. 3D was mind blowing and the 'My Enemy' dub step pumping during the action. ****ing BRILLIANT!!

That is the whole point of Peter Parker. The boy raised by Uncle Ben and Aunt May.

My Top Ten CBMs (no order):
Iron Man
Batman Begins
Superman The Movie
Scott Pilgrim Vs The World
The Avengers
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
The Amazing Spider-Man
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
The Incredible Hulk

I'll let the dust settle on ASM2, but I can imagine it very easily making the cut. ;-)

(It should be noted I'm very very harsh on adaptation faithfulness as WELL as the movie itself being good. Favorites like X2, Spider-Man 2, Dark Knight, First Class etc get too much too annoyingly wrong for my tastes.)

Edit: I forgot The Crow. I'm cheating. 11 is The Crow.

I'd say thre is a difference between CBM and Superhero Movie. Scott Pilgrim is my favorite CBM.

Scott Pilgrim was a masterpiece. Another movie that fans loved and baffled critics.

My top 5 CBM before the year where like this
1. Dark knight rises
2. spider man 2
3. batman begins
4. dark knight
5. the amazing spider man

I think I would now go like this
1. Dark knight rises
2. spider man 2
3. batman begins
4. the amazing spider man 2
5. dark knight

The amazing spider man 2 is in top 5 I am about 90% sure but I need to see it again because it was so much different then other CBM because it was more of a love store. Goblin was good and elector was awesome viisuley but could have used a little more development.

Yeah but even the good reviews said stuff like this "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World becomes a fatal case of flash over substance. Pretty great flash, though.". I thought that movie bled substance!!

Is there? For me, if a character appears in a comic it's a CBM. For example, Sandman if adapted is a comic book movie.

Talking about 10 ten lists, I don't know about anyone else but comic book movies are no where near my favorite movies of all time. I judge CBMs as a genre on to themselves. If I made a top 100 of my absolutely favorite movies of all time I don't think a CBM would be in my top 20 (maybe even top 30).

When I view a CBM I think I expect the movie to behave like a comic hence why I am very forgiving of flaws (like pacing) where as in drama I would be merciless. I think I am drawn to more 'comic booky' CBM than CBMs that take themselves too seriously.

In terms of Genres my preference goes;
1. Sci-fi(by miles and miles and miles and miles)
2. Action
3. Drama
4. Superhero

If anyone cares (doubt it :cwink:) my top 3 of my favorite genres

Sci-Fi
1. The Matrix
2. Blade Runner
3. Empire Strikes Back

Action
1. Raiders of the Lost Ark
2. Die Hard
3. Lethal Weapon

Drama/suspense
1. Shawshank Redemption
2. Fight Club
3. Se7en

Superhero
1. ASM2
2. TDK
3. SM2

most of my top 10 films are superhero movies but that is because I love batman and spider man and superhero movies have action like no other and I love action. There are some comedys I like but not like action.
