Spider-Man 2 is still on my top 5 superhero movies. I find it nearly flawless and it aged really well. The first Spider-Man looks a tad dated by today's standards, but I still love it, nonetheless. Both have so many iconic moments that the TASM series seem unable to replicate (and I still think the first TASM is a very good movie). The train action sequence and it's culmination, the upside down kiss, Peter discovering his powers... TASM 2 had Gwen's death, which could possibly even top these moments, but I bet it will be forgotten in a couple years. Well, let's see what the future holds to us Spidey fans.
I recently revisited the Raimi trilogy and it still holds up. Even the third movie is enjoyable IMO. The second movie in particular is just fantastic, and the first is not far behind. I don't want to get into the debate of whether Raimi's Spider-Man take is better than Webb's, but I think what becomes clear when you compare the two on a direction-level, is that Raimi really knows how to put together a movie. The recurring themes, the dramatic tension.. he just really has a lot of talent.
Electro's entire motivation was Batman-Forever Jim Carrey laughable.
I'm going with ASM2. While ASM2 went overboard with its comic booky nature, and comedic elements, it was meant to be very comic booky and comedic...... despite taking it too far in the end.
The story of Thor: The Dark World lent itself to a very serious tone. And while all the marketing and such would promote that, the film itself is littered with out of place comedy, with multiple moments in the final battle being played for laughs, as opposed to keeping with the serious nature of whats supposed to be a battle over the fate of the universe.
So yeah, ASM2. I'd rather see a film go overboard with its desired tone, then have one thats totally unfitting with the story they're trying to tell.
This is sad has asm2 is a top 5 CBM all time and Thor the dark world is not even a top 15 CBM so this is just sad has asm2 is astonishe underrated movie. ASM2 has the second best soundtrack in a CBM, some of the best action and the best love story and one of the best actors to play a super hero with AG has sm and the characteristics are spot on and a great love story and great suit. Thor has none of those things so asm2 by a contry mile.
Word ! People are often quick to discard the old for the new, but I'll take Raimi's first two films and a few parts of SM 3 over ASM and ASM 2 any day.
I actually think SM3 is better than ASM2.

I like both the Raimi movies and Webb ones. I find it silly when there's Webb vs Raimi fan wars online. It's as if preferring one means you have to rag on the other
Personally I don't rag on Webb's movies,ASM left me cold but it got better with time,ASM2 gets worse and is just mediocre.
You don't truly believe this do you?Not as much as Aldrich Killian though. He was a copy and paste of Riddler whereas Max Dillon had similarities but wasn't exact
Killian
Long haired nerd with bad skin
Gets ignored by his idol. The man not the hero
Reappears looking all suave with his own company
Destroys the protagonists armours
Kidnaps the protagonists girlfriend
Riddler
Long haired nerd with bad skin
Gets ignored by his idol. The man not the hero
Reappears looking all suave with his own company
Destroys the protagonists vehicles
Kidnaps the protagonists girlfriend
Max Dillon
Nerdy but not Long haired need with bad skin
Gets ignored by his idol. The HERO not the MAN

Aldrich's similarities to the Riddler don't go further than the first scene in Switzerland. Note that your list of similarities contains superficial elements such as "bad skin", "destroys their vehicles" and "kidnaps the heroes girlfriend", all of which are either general aspects that could apply to other villains or superficial/surface level things that do nothing to the character.
Electro and the Riddler's entire motivation was cartoony and paper thin. "Oh my hero ignored me or whatever, so I hate him now". Aldrich was spurned by Stark, but it wasn't his life goal from then on to enact revenge against him. His motivation, if you will recall, was to own the war on terror on both sides. Yes you could argue that stemmed from Tony ignoring him, but it goes nowhere near the level of camp and ridiculousness exhibited by Max or Edward Nigma. There's almost no debating that, this character is completely different and much better in execution.
