Didn't Uncle Ben's killer turn out to be Cletus Kasady or something? lol
Haha, not exactly. They didn't even do that much with him.

Once you finally found the guy, you chased him as he drove away. When you eventually caught up to him, he'd already somehow been murdered by Cletus before you showed up. And that was that. The end of that story.

I don't think it was ever confirmed that the summit was on the 19th. That was a rumor I think... for all we know it could have happened already.

I have no idea how the 19th thing started. I saw one person say the 19th and then ever one just went with it lol. I have not seen a single web sit or any thing that has said any thing about the 19th.

I liked the Goblin scenes and the Peter visits Harry scene.

Despite not supporting Sony anymore, that was a great scene that I would have loved to see in the movie.

It gave an additional sequence to Felicia, added depth to Harry and Peter's friendship, and showed the mechanism behind Harry's glider that we see at the end of the film. Instead, all we got about the glider was its revelation to Harry in his office, making his utilization of it so forced and random at the end.

That was a scene they absolutely needed, and I have no clue how they thought it would be a good idea to cut it out.

not what I meant. I'm not gonna stop being a Spider-Man fan if sony continues without the MCU.

I'll still see the movies, but I won't go out of my way to see something like sinister six. I have almost no interest in something like that without Spider-Man. ASM3 with the S6 seems like the right way to go if they continue with the Garfield movies.

Yeah but a asm3 with the s6 would mean you would have to introduce at least 2 more villains and that is if you have asm1 and 2 villains come back. How do you introduce at least 2 more villains and bring back the other 4 all in one movie and have them want to fight spidy? That just semeds like to much in one movie. If any thing asm3 introduce more villains and then have the s6 in asm4 or 5 or something.

Yeah that is sony for you. There was a lot of things cut like that would have added to the characters development like that.

Best case scenario: Spidey in MCU, Sony have no control at all. First movie in 2017, second in 2019. Spidey makes cameos in Aos and Daredevil. Makes full appearances in Infinity war. Movies are actually good.

In exchange, Sony gains small things, biggest is the rights to animated cartoons. Sony greenlights seasons 3-6 of "The Spectacular Spiderman", retains all voice actors.

Avi Arad is fired and goes on to run the "Divergent" series into the ground before it takes off and also casts Logan Lerhman and Dylan O'brien is a 3 parter called "Poison", a bird man style movie featuring Avi himself. Avi dodges taxes and gets arrested, whilst the tumblr Actors can get their grubby paws nowhere near the spiderman franchise

Andre Garfield makes TASM3 cause he doesn't care about licensing rights and he's dating Emma-Freaking-Stone, he can do whatever he wants. Marvel doesn't care, Andrew releases it on tumblr along with another SJW rant.

Spidey fans everywhere rejoice, even Daltonio. With great power is still leader, Joker and his marvellous friends (ANE, Doctor Octopus, ect) have a film to LOVE and Andrew Garfileds spiderman 3 to hate. Miles still has his coffee, old posters return after being absent since march, Picard returns and takes over the hype, everyone becomes supreme ruler of Internet. Harryoscop is really confused about what he thinks but no matter what he's happy as everything is positive. JOE continues to rejoice that he not only has a first name as his username, but also a good spiderman movie. Spider knight and avenging Spidey are still arguing over a directors cut and the TASM2 box office respectively, but all is truely well.

Raimi vs Webb fights have slowly waned off, BRAB is slowly recovering from the Hype explosion of 2015, and returns as supreme leader of nothing.

Andrew Lucas returns to the Spidey boards for the first time in years, on a golden horse! Oh wait, it's Airnck! Air nick has taken his true form as a relatively gold horse, degraves finally removes the 93 from his username, he doesn't need it, he's seen the golden horse. All he needs is 1, cause he's number one.

Toby McGuire joins the hype and despite his furious rants about the old days, the admins keep him as he's entertaining for the masses.

Transformers is rebooted and turns out good (lol no)

The hype returns to peace, so much so that the world stops for 7 years, and the rights revert back to Sony

Enter: Hell

Spid4rman: The Ama5ing Venom is returned, featuring a cameo from "poison"

Hell is rising

We can't stop it

It'll all be over soon

Man this would be perfect get to keep the perfect AG has sm and sony is not in the way any more and the part about tobey is just to funny. But really this is like one of the best funnest things I have ever read great job!

I wish I could know what Sony planned to do with Uncle Ben's killer because Im sure they had plans for him, maybe turn him into a villain with superpowers.

A part of me refuses to believe Sandman's relation to Uncle Ben was Raimi's idea.

There are things you don't **** with and for me origins are one of them. That's why I don't think I was keen on Chill being the killer of Bruce Wayne's parents. Everything doesn't HAVE to be connected to the hero, just like real life, sometimes bad things happen with no rhyme or reason.

Wtf are you talking about, Chill killing the Wayne's was just a random tragic thing to happen to Bruce

Seriously, I don't want to think about seeing another Sony Spider-Man film ever again.

Agreed. The ASM movies have made a big mess of things and now it is time that they stop wasting Spider-Man movies and give Marvel the franchise.

It has been very long since I was excited for a Spider-Man film.

Batman '89 where Chill is pre Joker in a desperate attempt to connect Batman to his arch nemesis.

That wasn't Joe Chill. His name was Jack Napier whom became the Joker later on. It was a last minute brain fart idea Burton came up with during the writers strike.

John campea seems certain that Spider-Man in the MCU isn't happening.

Wonder if he's on to something, he'd know people for sure

The name wasn't the big deal for me, it was forcing the connection to the hero which was patently forced. The connection between Ras and Bruce in BB was at least earned.

I agree with you 100%. I loathe that Joker connection to Batman in B'89. It stinks of cheap plot contrivance and added nothing worthwhile to the movie other than a cheap reason for Batman to beat Joker up badly (as if he needed an excuse for that after all the murders Joker committed and terrorized and abducted Vicki).

Even the script writer of the movie, Sam Hamm, disowned it:

Many observed that Burton was more interested in the Joker rather than Batman in terms of characterization and screen time. Comic book fans reacted negatively over the Joker murdering Thomas and Martha Wayne. In the comic book, Joe Chill is responsible. Writer Sam Hamm, who is a comic book fan, said it was Burton's idea to have the Joker murder Wayne's parents. "The Writer's Strike was going on," Hamm continued, "and Tim had the other writers do that. I also hold innocent to Alfred letting Vicki Vale into the Batcave," he reasoned. "Fans were ticked off with that, and I agree. That would have been Alfred's last day of employment at Wayne Manor."

But my point was Joe Chill and Jack Napier are two different characters. Chill was a random mugger like in Batman Begins and the comics. Napier is a Burton made up hood who becomes the Joker.

Yep, I knew the comics was a random killing but I got the names mixed up for the '89 movie.
