I'm not. I'd be more likely to believe Sony's denial than to believe anything from Latino Review. :funny:

LR credibility is a % lower than before the so-called "scoop"; yet, they still will remain a source for comic films news.

This "news" isn't any more or less certain than the last "news" we got

I would love to see a Black Cat movie. I am a huge fan of Black Cat, and i would totally want to see her and Spider-Man in the same film and see their amazing relationship. I love how dangerous and sexy she is, and how she toys with Spider-Man and is obsessed with him. I would totally pay money to see that!!

If Sony is doing this, it won't be executed very well, guranteed

I dunno man. What if nothing is happening behind the scenes at all? What if we're living in this bubble and just lying to ourselves?

I'm starting to get the sinking feeling that this is the case. :csad:

I really hope they are just playing coy and want to build up the announcement. Really hope the Sony executives come down and make Sony Pictures make the deal with Marvel, giving Marvel creative control...

Is @Da7e standing behind what he said? Cause right now it seems like the deal isn't happening anymore...

People need to stop listening to and following Latino Review.

If the deal for sure wasn't happening, I don't think we'd be getting these reports suggesting otherwise. Yeah, there's still that chance that it isn't, but, as has been said numerous times, where's there's smoke there's fire.

Whats your stance on this whole scenario??

My stance is for Marvel and Sony to agree to a Universal/Hulk type deal where Marvel retains control but they share in profits. While in a perfect world, all characters should return to where they belong, I am okay with X-Men staying separate due the universe being pretty dense and their outsider feel in the MU anyway. The MCU should be no different. The First Family and Marvel's flagship character of Spidey should all come home.

I merely meant that no news is good news because no deal has truly been debunked.

I get that some like TASM series and Garfield was a pretty great choice, though not perfect. But any fan of comics should want the possibilities to be endless not limited. That's what it comes down to. Why would one want Spidey in a bubble? He's no Bubble Boy!

"They say I'm a,
Web-Slinger, Hope-Bringer
They call me by my name
They say I’m a sometimes hero, sometimes zero
A menace on most days
But it’s all the same, this weight, the guilt,
I can’t shake"

You just gotta love this song man!

I also am a firm proponent of the smoke/fire theorem in most all situations. People are people and not infallible. While we are full of lies, not all are sociopathic geniuses adept at covering their tracks. Ish gets out. And there is only ever one truth. All roads lead there. And what we've seen for the most part is that a deal is probably happening.

Interesting. At this point for me I don't really care anymore. Yeah it would be nice for Sony to fix themselves for TASM3 but that most likely won't happen, since this series has suffered from rebootitis. I have my TASM comic book continuation project that me and a couple of friends are working on where I'm the artist, so TASM and Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man still continues for me no matter what.

That's cool! You'll have to share some panels some time.

Exactly. Sony isn't exactly confident in their movies either.

Maybe I'm a bit more cynical on rumors and everything, but I don't exactly agree. Where there's smoke, there's fire, sure. But what if that fire was simply the negotiations from the emails that we already know broke down? Once people picked up on that, they just ran with it and ran with it and ran with it to the point where I'm not sure I believe anything else has happened with the deal since then. Of course it's impossible to know for sure so I'm just waiting for something official.

I can't wait to see more, man. You're really talented, so I'm definitely looking forward to it. :woot:

Thanks! The hard part is drawing the actors faces in comic book style while still making it look like the actor/actress.
