Look up pictures of Michael Clarke Duncan from The Green Mile. Combine that with the description I gave you in the story. He's the ghost of an African-American man who was the victim of a hate crime back in 1963.

Seriously. There is no obligation for Sony or Marvel to confirm anything. The first reboot was "debunked" left and right until it wasn't.

We would've heard definitive statements on future plans for the franchise by now if sony was set on continuing it. You said it a few pages back, where there is smoke, there's a fire, and we can all see the smoke from miles away.

I just hope Sony cancels Sinister Six and the female spinoff, and gives us TASM3.

If they do that how do you think asm3 would turn out? Who would the villain be? What would the story be ect?

and TASM3 without the Sony butchering.

Big yes to both. SSM second best sm show and the biggest problem with both asm1 and 2 is cutting out to much of it.

I don't really want to see any of the spin-offs or even TASM3 for that matter. If it does happen then I imagine a new villain would be Kraven and there would have to be some resolution to the Goblin arc.

I love just about the entire score. LOVE it. "I'm Goblin" is probably my favorite track at the moment.

Yeah I am goblin is great sounds scary and crazy. 3erd favorite score of all time asm2 is behind only dark knight rises and lion king it is that amazing!

I don't mean to get in the middle of anything, but as far as I'm aware, Daltonio has been nothing but a class act while all of these rumors have been swirling around. While I may not agree with his opinions on the franchise, he's had to sit through the constant bashing of a product that he's thoroughly enjoyed, all while being one of a few members standing up for it.

If the deal doesn't go through, I expect the few people who support Sony to show some excitement the same way fans of the MCU have been bashing the company. I'll be frustrated as hell for not getting my way, but fans of Webb's movies can celebrate all they want.

This is a basic summary of where I would go with TASM3:
The story should revolve around Peter and his struggle with the black suit.
Harry creates a Carnage clone of Gwen and makes her a mindless killing machine, and he sends her after Peter, to kill him. (Imagine how emotional it would be for Peter! he has to fight a savage, Carnage clone of Gwen).
Final battle; Black suited Peter vs Harry; takes place in the sky, around the Chrysler building.

I know that's a lousy description of what I want for TASM3, but I'm too tired to type my full plot ideas for TASM3.

If TASM3 gets made I'd like to see Peter move away from Queens and into a Manhattan apartment. Getting accepted at the Daily Bugle and finally introducing JJJ. I like the idea of Peter falling for Felicia in the first half, who has become Black Cat. The opposite of Gwen's philosophy who loved Peter Parker and not Spider-Man. Not wanting to enter a proper relationship because it hurts too much. But then Mary Jane enters the picture and his mindset comes full circle again. I think Mysterio would be a good villain choice - especially if JJJ is introduced in the flesh. Spider-Man being framed for all sorts of crimes and cementing JJJ's distrust of Spidey. And the possibility of Gwen holograms/illusion cameos is also there.

So you want Mysterio to discover Spider-man's secret identity? How original. But it's Sony so why not rehash it. Only Marvel can save us from their formulaic movies.

The other option is to just rip off scarecrow and make him release chemical or something that makes him see his darkest fears and stuff.

If Sony actually go ahead with TASM3, keeping Garfield and using Mysterio, there's no chance they won't try to shoehorn Emma Stone in.

Right, because he doesn't know who Spider-Man is... Or does he? I'm assuming this villain would be coming from Oscrop? Maybe Harry tells him, but otherwise HanShotFirst is right. It would need to come from Peter's mind, not Beck's illusion/holograms.
