I thought that Fox was keeping FF under wraps because the movie is not having a smooth production?

I don't think they're taking the F4 approach, because we got casting news before any of the rumors about the production got out. We would have gotten confirmation that Garfield and DeHaan were returning, as well as new additions or recasts. We would have gotten an additional press release with a skeleton of a plot. So, yeah, it's probably not the F4 approach.....

Sony usually announces things loudly and clearly. If S6 was actually happening, we would have had a press release (we already had one around Comic Con announcing Goddard and the release date change, but that's about it).

Does this Twitter report seem plausible to you, Daltonio? (Not being accusatory, I promise). We've heard literally nothing about S6, and why would they shoot with no actors? I wanna get your take on this.

If it is happening, I'll be guilty to say that I'll probably watch it.

As I've mentioned before, I'm with TASM franchise until the bitter end.
(I'd just wish they'd end it now before they start putting the final nail in the coffin aka Sinister Six)

Yeah. Again, we have to wait for official confirmation. LR reported last week that a Marvel Deal was solid and this week we have Sony going forward with Sinister Six so we really can't go off of tweets and alleged insider scoops.

I'll be honest, no matter what happens if there is a Spider-man movie to be made I'll see it and it'll get my money, but that doesn't mean I have to be happy about it. And if I'm being doubly honest, I kind of expect the rights to stay with Sony. If I had to put money on it right now I'd expect them to be moving forward with S6 or another reboot.
