It'd be a real refreshing change and actually be something to be excited about. Take an unknown teen who really fits the role and I'd totally be for that. Not having any pre-conceived opinions of whoever gets cast would do it wonders because nobody would know what to expect. Let them grow with the role and you could cover over a decent period Peter's high school and college life, and possibly go even further.

That's why casting the supporting cast is so much more fun. If Marvel do sign the deal you can guarantee it'll be an unknown as Spidey with a supporting cast filled out by more established actors and big names.

I think the problem is there are few talented male teen actors in the spotlight, so people just resort to the Lermans. I hope they pull a Star Wars 7 / Kingsman and find someone unknown for this reason
