Not even gonna bother with a reply since you just said that the CG looks cartoony a couple of posts back:whatever:. Pick a side, Mr. Osborn:oldrazz:
I never said The CGI itself looks cartoony, I said the SWINGING looks cartoony. it's physically inaccurate.

Sorry if you misinterpreted my post.

No problem! We are cool :) I think what's confusing is your multiple takes on it. It's CG is great, but at the same time it looks cartoony, fake, and scientifically inaccurate. Anywho, it's your opinion. Who am I to judge? :)

I was not being sarcastic dude. I genuinely do respect your opinion. :)

Cheers, mate. We should all try to just get along here.

Oh, and Miles. We definitely need to start a petition for that puppy to be the lead in the new Spider-Man movie.

No it didn't, it looked horrendous! Gotta toe that party line.

Looks as good as some of the swinging in ASM1, and better than anything Raimi ever did.

Yes, I just compared the two franchies.

I think Raimi's cinematography was in better taste than Webb's, to be honest. One of the really good things in that series

I feel like Webb was too much of a rookie to even try this big of a franchise. Thag being said, Raimi did use that water dissolve effect in Spider-man 2, like out of nowhere without any reason

Water dissolve effect?

I really disliked the excessive flashbacks in Webb's films. And the only thing I disliked about the Times Square fight was the slow-mo. Other than that, I don't have much of an eye for criticizing cinematography. I loved the roaring effect on Ock's voice after May whacks him with her umbrella. Random but awesome.

The Lizard fight had me on the edge of my seat.

The one at Oscorp Tower? Yeah, that was awesome. I think my favorite of the Webb villain fights was the Times Square one (except for the slow-mo).

The last fight against Electro came off as a total cartoon to me... lots of shiny ray-throwing, the CG Spidey taking the electricity like it was nothing, etc. Just the opposite of exhilarating, since nothing came across as "real".

Agreed.

Insulting TASM1 won't change the fact that TASM2 was a critical and financial failure. TASM1 is a better movie anyways.

This doesn't look fake to you?

They look very fake to me.

How about you explain how they look fake?

"Tobey isn't in it" isn't an answer by the way

i think it looks fake when the light of the scene doesn´t really blend with the render, same with the textures of it, TASM2´s Electro looks way too out of scene in his final battle and Spidey kinda too, i mean that entire sequence is CGI...the suit from TASM lended better to CG than TASM2 because it had more textures, i know it doesn´t make sense but the less texture easier to notice is a render...example:

BUT...TASM CGI was noticable too, i don´t know maybe fully rendered scenes doesn´t translate well vs mixed in CGI with prectical:

Electro looked a bit rubbery in certain parts of the final battle, but other than that he was fine. Lizard's CGI was hit or miss.

Oscorp tower's battle was so damn awesome! you could really feel the wills of Spider-Man and the Lizard competing.

God, TASM1 suit is fricking gorgeous! ugh, I really dislike TASM2 suit..

The suit in #2 was sooo much better than 1 in my opinion. Did not like the black eyes.
